Emporium Hotel South Bank

Beautiful rooms, everything was luxurious.

A fantastic location with great staff and the lifts are an experience in on their own. The roof top pool has one of the best views in Brisbane.

From walking into the reception area to entering the lifts both my wife and I were totally impressed, then entering an amazing room with a stunning wardrobe and bathroom area. The whole apartment was decked out with high end quality features giving you a feeling of indulgence. The sensational views from the room, to an even more sensational view from the impressive rooftop infinity pool and Terrace on level 22.The gym, steam room and sauna weren't your average facilities, they are first class.The location is fantastic, so close to cafes and restaurants and walking distance to the south bank precinct. We loved every minute of our 2 night stay and found it hard to leave.

Very comfortable room. Great location on South Bank.

Housekeeping wasn't great. Dirty glasses were not changed and room was not hoovered each day.

The staff

It isn't really a four star hotel. It has a lot of tired bling. Needs a reboot but they could start by cleaning all the carpets!

The room was very spacious, and the bed comfortable. We had an extra surprise, because it was NYE the Hotel supplied us with a bottle of Champagne to celebrate. We also bought tickets to the NYE party that was being held on the rooftop of The Emporium, this was an amazing night and a great way to see in the new year watching the fireworks from the balcony.

It was very hard to get a spot around the pool which was a shame as the weather was great.

I did buy a river view room I did get an upgrade but was still expecting river views But still a great stay and would visit again

the bed is so comfy and the sound isolation is also pretty good. Best sleep ever! the staff are also very friendly and helping. Great experience !!

From the moment you arrive you feel welcomed. The staff are super friendly and attentive. We soon learned that when we checked in and they asked what brought us here and we mentioned our 10 year wedding anniversary, they noted it down and brought up complimentary champagne and chocolates to our room as a gift (which was a beautiful touch) and the champagne was decent too. Building is awesome, great restaurants and facilities nearby, it's central to everything in South Bank and just a small walk over the river to Brisbane.

One of the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever been! Rooms are spacious and modern. The fact that there is wine fridge in the room and special sink which allows you to clean the wine glass is amazing.

Double beds are a bit too small for 2 people - I think they have 140cm.

- Spacious, a lot of benches for me to pack my luggages in preparing to take the flight back home.- Clean and comfortable. - Greatly appreciate the gentleman staff who come from HK. He is very kind and help us a lot.- also my big thanks to the lady staff who came from Taiwan. She is patient to give us some advice where to go.

The only down side is the refrigerator. It is not cold enough to store our milk despite replacing another one. We need to throw away a bottle of milk because it is spoiled under the warm temperature. Otherwise we would give 10 scores out of 10.

It’s amazing, as soon as you arrive you are greeted by the lovely team. Very easy check in and out! Don’t charge a crazy amount as bond! Happy to come and stay here always definitely worth the value for all these reasons.
