City Star Lodge

Great location close to the city. The facilities had a 24 hour communal kitchen, laundry and a pool which was all very nice to have. The kitchen was especially nice to make breakfast early before a dance competition. After hours check in procedures was super simple.

The beds are too soft for my liking. The underground car park was very tight, but we always found a parking spot on the street so it worked out. We booked a family room, with a queen bed and two single beds. It was pretty cramped, but as we only stayed 3 nights it didn't both us too much. There's no counter space in the bathroom, which is always nice to have.

Aircon.

Blood stains on the bedsheets, towel rack that broke upon taking my towel off, and a shower that has no water pressure, and fluctuating temperatures with no way of keeping water temperature stable.The fridge was not cold at all, regardless of settings used. I was told to pick my favourite parking spot underneath the building, but alas, there were only about 20 spots, all of which were occupied. No conditioner, only body/hand wash and shampoo.

Friendly staff and nice rooms. They are newly renovated and are quite nice. The location is great for Brisbane without paying expensive hotel prices when staying in central Brisbane.

It is an old building with basic refurbishment. Noisy. Pillows too fat but helpful staff found a comfortable pillow for me.

Everything was good. Clean perfect little stay

The location is close to the CBD. Leafy green Kangaroo Point. Pineapple Hotel I highly recommend for pub meals. 24 hour corner shop which includes in house Subway. The staff very friendly.

The room and toilet are both very clean. We had a comfortable stay. There are lots of places nearby, like shops and restaurants, making it easier to find places. Happy and will come back again.

So much to like about the City Star Lodge. Very well appointed room with kitchenalia & the comfiest bed ever. Location is great so close to local Pineapple Pub, restaurants & IGA…& the Gabba & easy uber to the CBD. Great value for money with free parking as a bonus. Best of all Lee & her team were very customer focused. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you CSL!!

Poor water pressure in the shower.

Great location, super friendly staff. Really comfortable bed! The only issue we had was the room could have been cleaner. Had a really old stale smell, bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor in the corners and in the shower and walls quite dirty in main room.

Our room was right on the road so very noisy every night for our 4 night stay - difficult to sleep, staff were nice, no room service provided for our stay:( Good location for: take away, basic groceries and pineapple hotel. We were going to Ipswich everyday so straight down the main road and onto the highway which was good. Undercover, locked car park included
