    Pros +

    • the location of the hotel
    • The staff were super friendly and helpful, the added bonas of tje private spas helped make my fiancees birthday even more special
    • the location was good, and the room was very quiet, I didn't hear others

    Cons -

    • wasnt expecting to be chucked in a room 2 floors above ground. no balcony or any nice view from the hotel room. lampshades, toilet roll holders were all lopsided and looked broken, stains on the carpet in one room took photos incase they tried to blame me
    • Extremely overpriced
    • You had to go through separate buildings to reach the apartment, which I didn’t realise at first as they are in different towers, elevators take a VERY long time so plan ahead if you are in a hurry. I also thought the rooftop pool would be heated, but it seems only the indoor one is. The kitchen had very limited items available for cooking. the blinds were not blackout, and the bed was really hard, and pillows were fluffy with no support did not have a good night sleep.

Very nice hotel. Large clean room and excellent kitchen facilities, comfy bed.

A little complicated with three towers and crossing on level 6. Perhaps needs more signage.

    Avoid this hotel.

I would love a refund. The room smelt like sewerage, the pool was closed and I was not told prior to booking, and I didn’t get any sleep due to a band playing downstairs. Even with ear plugs I could still hear it. My partner was meant to join me but I told her not to come as it was so terrible.

view was nice, hotel room was good size

location was difficult to get too and find parking to check in, check in process was long and inefficient, no option to valet park more than 1 vehicle and alt parking was third party parking lot 300 m down the street. layout of towers meant it took ages to get from room to reception especially when there was a hundred young kids staying at hotel

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean, thank you. The location was also very good - it was close to the train station and walking distance to restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were also very nice and helpful.

The only thing I would say that could be improved, that while the pool facilities in the building were nice, it was a bit disappointing that the outdoor rooftop spas were cold - it would have been nice to have a hot spa. Also, in one of the pools, you can see that they've built a bar facility but it isn't functional - this would be nice if you can have a drink at the pool (but this may be potentially open in summer, whereas I was there in autumn). That said, the pools were still nice.

Before check in time about 2 hr. Someone call me that no room available for 4 of us and change the hotel for us to the johnson. The very bad only 2 hr before check in no complimentary , it not our fault !!!

Although I only stayed for less than 3 days. The one-bedroom apartment was quiet, clean enough, with everything for cooking utensils-wise supplied, as for food and drinks, Peppers DV is located near plenty of shops, Woolworths, BWS, and takeaway and dine-in shops. There is easy access to the entertainment venues, ie, Brisbane showgrounds, music hall, and performing theatres; everything is within walking distance, including Fortitude Valley Train station, you can use this train station to get the Air Train to the Airport.I would stay at Peppers DV again.

We loved the cleanliness, check in was very good, lovely lady on reception. The bed was comfy and the shower was excellent. The products for use in shower and had basin were lovely. The crockery and all kitchen items were lovely and clean and new. The location is great, very close to Fortitude Valley Railway station and 50 cent fares to town was exceptional. Lots of eateries and bars close by. A supermarket and bottle shop close by. The air con was on and the tv was playing jazz when we arrived. Nice little touches that make a big difference. The price was excellent for what we got.

We were evacuated from the building immediately, and running down 17 flights of stairs with no information was quite frightening. It was lucky we were dressed. No information was given as to why. The noise of nightclubs emptying at 3 a.m. was very loud. The sun pouring in in the afternoon was incredibly hot and uncomfortable, but the blinds made a difference, just hard to get to the blind levers behind the couch. Very minimal things compared to all the good things. would recommend if you were staying for the work week. It didn;t register well on the Uber app for pick ups. Often confused with The Met down the street to the left. We walked down to the post office and the pick up point registered.

Loved the room, the pool and the help from staff

The aircon wasn’t as strong - not enough air flow/ ventilation

The room we stayed in had another high rise right in your face, there in no point in the apartment where other people aren’t directly looking at you from the other building even on the toiletCheck was terrible there was 10 people trying to check in at 3pm Once lady would take 15 minute per person the check them in Once “checked in” the lady said I just need to see if your rooms ready even though check in was at 2 and it’s now 3pm Partner was left to drive around in circled for another 30 minute while I waited. Eventually I just asked the lady again is our room ready and she said “yes it here is your keys” like it was ready the whole time and I was just stood there for no reason On check out similar thing, we paid for valet parking checked out at 10am and had to stand in the lobby for 45 minutes while we waited for an our car. And yes stand because 7 other people waiting. This isn’t what I call valet Room is out dated, no privacy, bad Duvet and blankets, no ice trays The three building mixed together is a nightmare

Excellent location, close to restaurant, bars, clubs, public transport

The customer service although was timely checking in; the staffs mannerism and excellent customer service made up for the wait.

    I didn’t like that I had to leave !

    Poor

Our baby had black hands and legs from crawling on the floor for 5 minutes. I'm assuming it's rubber from car tyres. Also the bathroom floods when you use the shower.

    Clean, beautiful view.

Confusing to find. They charge extra for parking.
