Opera Apartments - South Brisbane

The room is well lit and spacious

The location, and some amenities - no gym in the facility. Reception work hours is also limited so I can't easily make requests

Its convenient to where I needed to be.

Nicely appointed apartment in good location with free undercover parking. The staff were very helpful and the apartment was cleaned once in the middle of our stay. The roof terrace and pool are nice.

Air-conditioning was a little tricky to get right.

Opera was a convienent location. Near to Southbank and galleries. Apartment had good facilities. Pool has a fantastic view view of city. It was good value.

Microwave failed but replaced. Office closed half a day. It was only open in morning over holiday period.

Car parking was very secure, location good for access to Southbank and City, plenty of space in the apartment, washing machine and dryer great to have in room, quiet.

My apartment felt luxurious. It was tastefully furnished, well equipped. Wifi worked well. Although I didn't intend to swim in the rooftop pool, I went up and had a look. It is simply amazing, was superbly maintained, and the views of the Wheel of Brisbane, the CBD and the river from there should not be missed. Also great BBQ area up there. Great location, only a few minutes walk from the river, the Wheel of Brisbane, the CBD on the other side of the river and the nearest train station (South Brisbane). Fairly quiet.

The bed was too soft for my taste, sinking in. Somebody else might like it this way.The windows might block views from outside but I wasn't sure, so when I didn't want to be seen by people in apartments on the other side of the street, I kept/let the roller blinds down. I am a fan of net curtains in apartments and hotel rooms LOLA warning and advice to travellers that has nothing to do with the apartment directly:Coming from the airport, I took the train to South Brisbane, as it is rather close to the apartment. I felt it was too close to bother an Uber or taxi for the short ride, so I walked the few blocks with my rolling suitcase. Never again! Rolling or pulling a suitcase over the pebble-crete walkways of Brisbane is torture, particularly in the heat. Took an Uber for the way back to the airport, it was about the same price as the train ticket - and no stress and sweating from transporting the luggage first long ways and up and down at the airport, and then from the train station to the apartment.

Fantastic location - quick walk to BCEC and Southbank! Large bedrooms and living area with balcony. This is such a great property and we will definitely book again for any future Brisbane work trips!

The apartment was very clean, tidy and perfectly equipped for our stay. Location is very good being a short walk from South Brisbane train station and QPAC. There is an IGA close by. The reception staff were very helpful with allowing us an early check in.

Nothing to dislike

Close to the major attractions and it was convenient having the rooftop pool and cafe downstairs. The spaciousness of the room was good as well as having laundry in room.

Everything was a bit rundown so likely needs a bit of updating. The coffee/tea and other amenities could be nicer as well as the accessibility to proper cleaning supplies more helpful. The aircon was very loud but worked,

Sofa was low tp the ground. Comfortable but hard to get up out of.

Great location, spacious apartment, many appliances available, including washing and drying machine, comfy bed, full size wardrobe, 5 min from the conference center

There was a strange smell on the whole floor, not sure if it was from some neighbour cooking, but it was persistent through my whole stay

Good location and rooms are good size

Rooms and furnishings are good but doors and walls are scuffed and need painting.

Good location. Initially a bit hard to find and gain entry but the apartment was close to south side of the gardens, and restaurants including a real great coffee spot right at the front door.

Could have used more seats. We booked for four and there was one two seater sofa. Beds were comfy but the bedding wasn’t the best. TV remote refused to cooperate and even though the receptionist offered to fix it, nothing was done about it even though we were there for six days.

was unable to access the wifi and therfore couldnt cast to the TV. The tech needs to be simple so guest have access to their on streaming services.

The location is very convenient for me to attend an event at the convention centre. The room was clean and really comfortable- I slept quite well, which is unusual for me staying in a hotel.

Near the top destinations in town, free parking, smooth self-checkin for late arrival

Not as described, photos are not reflective, old, overused apartment, small tv screen, no cleaning/ housekeeping, no view, not responsive, had to collect the trash by myself

The location was great to the city, apartment was clean and decent size.

Loved the apartment, very compact however had everything you needed with lovely decor. Beautiful Patisserie located on ground level was an added bonus.
