Belise Apartments

The location

Room was dirty/old/worn out- when requesting linen to cover dirty couch that marked my pants, was told by reception we would likely be charged for it!! No extra linen to keep warm at night- was not confident to ask for any more as we had previously been told we may be charged for this. No towels to use at the pool- had to rewash our own in the room. Pool spa water was murky and had a stench. Definitely did not match the review rating online and staff were not overly friendly. Will not stay here again.

Depending on the meetings I have set in Brisbane, this is a great location for anything on the north side. First time doing an after-hours check in, and the process was simple and easy, including access to car parking.

Nothing to mention. Two night stay, nothing negative to comment on.

Was given an unit at 20th floor. The view was spectacular. The unit was fully furnished and I had everything that I needed. The location was good too. It is 5 minutes walking distance from Fortitude Valley station and it is a station that connect directly to airport.

Great location for our activities while we were in Brisbane

The apartment while a good size needed some freshening up.Carpets needed cleaning, bathroom sink was kept getting cloaks and bed & pillow were uncomfortable.

The location was convenient, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. It felt like a great balance of comfort and accessibility.

Overall, my stay was very good, but the parking garage was a little tight. Aside from that, everything else was great.

Good size apartment, convenient location....easy walk to restaurants nearby

The room war exceptionally clean and comfortable. There is also a pool, a sauna, and a gym which can be accessed until 10 pm without any additional costs. The apartment was very spacious, there was also a balcony with a beautiful view (we stayed at level 10).

The location is a bit far from the CBD, but we knew that beforehand, and it's good to reach via bus or Uber. The late-check-in itself was straightforward, but the information for the late-check-in which was sent before the check-in was a little confusing (we called for clarification and the staff seemed not aware of this situation).

Great location, very quiet, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough & very clean apartments.

The pool and spa were great on the roof

The appartments had a few items that were very cheap and broken , eg ironing board and there were not enough glasses , bios ect .

Very modern and clean, good size kitchen and balcony and beautiful roof top pool

You have to tap your key to get down to the ground floor which could be dangerous in an emergency

Great location close to many cafes and restaurants. The apartment size was perfect and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay

A chrome cast would be great for the TV.

The on-site manager was very dude and disrespect. Cleanliness was terrible bad what liked snot on the dishes, their was dirt n mold all over the windows so could not enjoy view. Wasn't much cutlery, or cookware. Asked for spair blankets and was given towels. List goes on

Great room setup. Great extra "office". Good kitchen facilities.

Slightly better crockery/glasses. Not terrible, but not up to the standard of the rest of the facilities.

Clean, tidy. Decent reception hours. Cafe downstairs. Good location

Third time staying here. Was clean and comfy. Its simple but still has everything needed. Good central location.

Lift issues. Cleaners need to dust and wipe the clothes shelves.

Location, facilities and room are fine

Reception is closed too early on weekends. 3.30pm no one is there, earliest check in is 2.00pm. You're harassed by messages and emails. e.g. I'm there for business yet recieve messages to supply your email although email was provided when booking, I then supplied my email yet get more messages. Messages demanding you attend reception by 11.00am on Sunday to provide ID and Credit Card when reception is actually open till 12.30pm. Then you have to pay a ridiculous $35/night for parking. I have stayed at Belise 3 times previously, free parking was one of the things that made the room rate attractive. The receptionist was almost impossible to understand on the phone and was rude when I dealt with her in person. As a regular customer I expect better treatment, I will NOT be staying at Belise again.

Location was great for what we were in Brisbane for.The shower enclosure/door sealing arrangements need work or re design as water leaks significantly out onto bathroom floor resulting in a large water puddle on bathroom floor. Attempts to direct showers water away from door did not improve situation.This ware pooling could potentially be a safety hazard from slip and trips The bath mat contained the water from spreading to a certain extent, however requiring floor mats to be squeezed out each time- an unpleasant chore when on holidayThe bed linen also has a what appeared to be a ‘urine’ stain on it. Hygiene issue

The property was nice in the reception- great first impression ! The reception staff went above and beyond to help us with washing as the dryer didn’t work.?

Our room was very dated, old dirty furniture. The dryer didn’t work. The bed was an old spring mattress- very hard and uncomfortable (this was very disappointing)

The receptionist was great. Very helpful and lovely as a person.

The seal on the shower door seemed to have GP’s in it, causing the bathroom floor to flood slightly. We needed to set up a string of foot mats to soak up all the water each day. N.B. The chlorine in the (short) pool is so strong that if you don’t have goggles, your eyes will sting for the next few hours. The limited reception hours detract from the experience (especially when a fuse was tripped in our apartment and we had to go for a night without power, resulting in phones and laptops not being charged, which created stresses for the next day). It also meant that when we checked out in the morning, there was nowhere we could leave our bags until our flights later in the day. Having the cutlery drawers directly above the bins was an odd choice.
