Stamford Plaza Brisbane Hotel

Unbearable location, nice view, great staff, everything...

It was charming and clean … great size bedrooms. Great views.. reception and concierge were very welcoming

Receptionist William was very friendly and accommodating even though we arrived early. We had to wait until our room is ready in the afternoon when Anna called us back while enjoying ourselves at the LaBocca.

Facilities like pool, spa, gym and breakfast. The room was great also.

Would be good if check out was later

Location was amazing! Staff were super friendly and welcoming.

There was hair left in the shower and bathroom. Few little maintenance things like the tv cardboard didn’t stay open doors kept closing.

The Stamford was ideally located for us. Next to the Botanical Gardens and easy walking to the main city centre.

It was a clean, well appointed hotel, with good sized rooms, a comfy bed and a large bathroom. The pool was heated and the buffet breakfast was of high quality. It was situated a short walk to the Queens st mall, restaurants and the train station.

This being picky, but the bathroom vanity with the sink/wash basin was very low!!!

Bar times need to be expended, especially during the day, can't get a drink when you want, Remember we are on holiday and don't fit into normal business hours Kitchen also needs to cater for extended hours. if we want a snack at 3pm we should be able to get one.

Convenient

Dated decor, charged premium price for budget experience. Hotel is clearly trying to cut corners and save money on staff. Waited at the house bar to order a drink for over 10minutes - no staff serving, left and went to bar across street. Have to navigate their carpark to park your own car, ended up also taking bags to room as room hadn’t been allocated, even after check in time.

Lovely room with a view of the river & bridge. The room was spacious and clean. Everything was great. The wifi worked well and the food was great.

The minibar could have been better stocked and the coffee machine was leaking ... minor issues really but would have got the extra rating for a 10/10

The room was a good size, the location on the river gave exceptional views and it was great the hotel had its own car park. To be able to eat the excellent breakfast outside and very close to the river was a bonus.

No bar at top of hotel to make use of view. Breakfast was ok. Coffee could be better not normal Ozzie standard

Check in was advertised 2pm room wasn’t ready until 2:44Then when finally got the key only one workedConditional dispenser was empty which was annoying Bed old and lumpy

Bathroom and beds were exceptional.

Car park was a bit cramped.

Room was so cold. Beds were different height even though it was a king bed.

In the hearth of Brisbane well located along the river, hotel clean and friendly staff, rooms look outdated but comfortable.

The hotel is getting old and tired. Windows dirty, outside walls need repairs and painting, bathroom for restaurant needs refreshing as does the outside fresco area... Pool area need a complete overhaul.

Love staying here. Easy to get to from the train. Great location to walk to Southbank and to the Botanical Gardens. Highlight was definitely the views of the City Bridge! We had a lovely meal downstairs and the breakfast was good too. Staff are very friendly and the facilities were excellent. Thank you !

It’s a shame you can’t open a window for some fresh air.

The location was great. Close to river walks , the gardens and eateries close by.

I think when you stay at a top hotel bottled water should be supplied . The bottled water was in the mini bar and could be purchased for $6.00. not good enough.The mattress on the bed need to be replaced,l don't think they were up to standard
