Chasely Apartment Hotel

My two-bed apartment had plenty of space for everything, 2 bed rooms, living, ensuite and bathroom with full laundry facilities. 2 beds were comfy and large, central AC/Heating was great, kitchenette with stove made it possible for my wife to whip up breakfast & dinner for the 2 nights. Ground floor undercover parking and easy access to elevator was very useful. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels I checked around the area at that time

These are not so much issues, but things that can be improved1) Ensuite did not have an exhaust fan so the mirror was fogging up2) Could not locate where the in-room telephone was as I wanted to request extra toiletries from reception. So had to go and meet reception in person

Location as I needed to be close to the Chasely Hospital.

Bed was very uncomfortable had to use pillows from the couch to make it somewhat bearable.

Great location, friendly and easy going check in process.

The building has seen better days. A kitchen cabinet door had a broken hinge, ceiling paint was a bit tatty. Pillows were too soft (perhaps that's a personal preference). However, the price was in line with the product and nothing about the marketing was misleading.

Location and ability to park easily was our main requirement and we got it.Were able to open the blinds to allow lots of sunshine into the room.

The smell inside the building - An old dusty smell.When we got out of the lift on the first floor there was a really bad smell. Really nasty. It was gone by the following morning. Maybe worth getting rid of the carpet everywhere.

Good location for train station access

We booked 2 apartments.The 2 bedroom apartment was very dated and poorly maintained. Musty old smell to apartment.Kitchen bench cracked, power points cracked.Carpet has large humps forming trip hazards.Old soiled furniture in lounge room.The 1 bedroom apartment was well presented and nice.

The place is old and needs a lot of work. The windows do not block any noise, even at the back of the hotel. You can hear every vehicle all hours of the night. The room smelt musty and there was rubbish under the bed from previous guests.

Repeat visit for us to Chasely Apartments. A good city pad in an excellent location - close to amenities by car, public transport or foot. Nice having the river walkway across the road for a walk into the city or to South Bank. Staff were very helpful.

Comfortable clean and roomy apartment with all facilities and easy parking in the basement. Close to the ferry into the city. Great for getting around by car.

Obviously has suffered some water ingress prior to Ex Tropical Cyvlone Alfred as a lot of damage was old.

Full of mould was damp and smelt, not very secure. Horrible

When we arrived the bunk was not set up as a bed and was booked that way. We requested linen etc.

The location

No reception to speak to when we arrived even when we arrived before reception had closed. (As per the sign in the door)When we did speak to the reception staff she was unhelpful and did not supply us with all the information needed to solve our issue with the washing machine flooding our apartment.We did not receive any extra towels as requested and they were unable to move us rooms, when I requested our money back the receptionist told me to call the manager Keryn, when I called Keryn he said he would not refund us as we had stayed the night the apartment had flooded.Incredibly unprofessional and the room was an absolute state.Would not reccomend

The location was excellent as we were there for the footy, we could walk to the stadium. The rooms were a perfect size for our needs. Comfortable and the little kitchen had what we needed

The only issue was the parking, we were very glad we didn't bring our 4x4 drive as it would never have been able to park at all. The parks are very narrow and the best parking with space were for staff only. All other spaces were ok if you had nobody next to you. If there was any spaces up top where the bigger cars parked you couldn't park between them. Our car is only a CX-8 but was to long for the spaces and to wide to safely park next to anyone. Shame because one night i had to park my vehicle on the street and its a new car. so i didn't sleep that night.

Disliked appartment - smelly & old Kettle old Lift broke when we were leaving so had to walk luggage downstairs Good location Would not recommend

Paint and dirt came from the air con vent all over the bed.

Found the staff assistance excellent - needed to store luggage and access the room earlier than booked. they went out of their way to accommodate

although the rooms were clean and tidy, an update of the flooring and paint would help.
