Ovolo Brisbane Fortitude Valley, a Wyndham Hotel

The room itself was fine.

The service was very disappointing. We were not acknowledged at dinner, breakfast orders were incorrect, and our request for room servicing and fresh towels was not attended to.

The breakfast team were awesome, friendly and helpful and the meal was good quality. The bar on the rooftop, the guy was excellent and always going out of his way to help.

We had an issue with a double booking which booking.com and the hotel didn't resolve promptly, this could have been resolved immediately however both parties were pointing fingers who should resolve, that put a dampener on my stay

Very limited menu at the restaurant. For the room service menu quite a few items were not available.

Had a problem getting an invoice at check out. Needed for business travel expenses. They said Booking.com needed to send me the invoice and Booking.com said Ovolo needed to send it. Seems like a pretty standard thing. The bookings manager at Ovolo just told me that this is what I get for Booking through this App., and not directly through the hotel. Not a great experience

The room was groovy comfy and large. It had the most amazing snack bar. Perfect amenities and exceptional facilities

The room images had made this room appear larger. But over all it was perfect any way. Paid services like sporting would have really made it perfect

Well located in “the valley” with several good eating options in the immediate vicinity. Smooth and friendly check-in. Very large and well appointed room. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Lovely decor around the property… fun and quite camp. I’d stay again!

Breakfast should’ve been included for what we paid.

The room was amazing and felt very luxurious. Plenty of creature comforts and exceptional mini bar. The room was styled amazingly. Perfect example of why you would rent an appartment for the night as opposed to just going back home.

Upon arrival our room wasn't ready which wasn't the end of the world as we were slightly early. Staff directed us to the roof top bar to relax and kill some time while we waited and advised they would contact us when our room was ready. However we reached the roof top bar only to find out it was closed. We ended up going else where for drinks. After a while we were begining to get anxious as we had an event to attend and were running out of time to get ready. We returned to find our room was ready but staff had forgotten to contact us. Regardless we finally made it to our room and proceeded to start getting ready only to find out when we wanted to have showers that we had no towels in our room. Not the most seemless first impressions for our first stay, but staff did indicate upon questioning on checkout that they were severely short staffed. We have stayed at 100's of hotels and understand these things can happen but these are the little things that make people reconsider when booking again.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were superb, lots of small touches that made it a unique stay- quirky artwork, well stocked mini bar with great variety, bathroom spacious, decor beautiful

Great bed! Great location.

Bar fridge broken. Air con was so noisy I had to turn it off and the room very quickly turned into a sauna. If they spent less money on kitsch artwork on every wall and surface, they could upgrade the very old and awful shower heads. Bathroom products were disgusting.

The location was perfect as there were cafes and restaurants nearby. Also it was a nice walk to the river and the CBD.

The hotel breakfast and resto was a bit pricy and the choices were limited.

Friendly. Modern. Spacious Rooftop battery live music was awesome Miranda food choices around the area

There wasn’t anything bad but the balcony was a little small. Some instructions on some of the switching would have been helpful. Would have loved access to a microwave.

Location and the vibe atmosphere of the hotel was great. Room was large and bed comfortable.

Room was huge and chic, speaker in the room and tv was great with casting from our phone. Camp vibe, cool colours and comfortable. Bed was big and comfyRoom service was amazing so yum Staff were lovely
