Old world charm

Our room views were not as pictured in the advertisements - very disappointed! Paid extra for a view of cars on the road and trees obstructing the (paid extra for) views. Staff were very ambivalent in most areas of facilities.

The breakfast was very good! Definitely recommended to include with booking

Couch was too very old, springs and cushions sagging. No wine glasses

Location great, perfect walking track along the river.

The Electric water jug was filthy so didn’t make my coffee. Needs to be clean. Thick residue build up in the bottom shower wasn’t cleaned properly.

Comfortable clean room...great service...lovely pool. We usually stay here when in Brisbane

Convenient location by car or ferry, lovely to have spa and also option to already recognise car number plate

Could have clear directions to nearest bus/public transport stops

Had an incident at the entrance due to another car exiting. Pulled over to the left and hit the concrete garden wall damaging our car. They should have a stop sign for vehicles exiting to allow cars entering more room.

Room was spacious and quiet with a great view. Nice walk to river.

Breakfast was chaotic and disorganised. Coffee machine was being cleaned the first day so had to pay more if wanted a coffee. Had to ask for more coffee pods in the room., only one for 2 people 2 nights.

It's my second time back there I love everything about the place

I love the wood fire pizza I can get outside and just walk around the pool is amazing

The river view

The receptionist wasn’t very helpful, she watched me and my daughter struggle to find the luggage cage, but instead we had to make several trips to get to our luggage to the lifts and up to the room. When asked why the late check in, she replied they had VIPS checking out late. So rude and uncalled for

Conveniently close to airport.

Slightly dated but still clean and comfortable.

It was clean and tidy, food was delicious and the staff all friendly and lovely

The convenience of where I needed to be for appointments and found the reception gentleman very obliging and thought the breakfast included was great

My room was overlooking a roof and would have preferred a higher floor which is what I thought I booked and the room need a little updating

Lovely place, tasteful, classic decor and indeed the views are lovely.

Unfortunately I arrived rather late. No 24 hour room service for snacks and nothing much in the vicinity. Kitchen closes at 9:00.

Beautiful spacious heritage style hotel room, perfect for our overnight stay prior to our cruise departure. The room was immaculate, comfortable beds, & lovely bathroom. The hotel is conveniently located close to port parking facilities. The reception staff were super friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing not to like .

Good location

It’s a little dated. We were on floor 2 which after exiting the lift, the floor had a strange smell and carpets are quite old. Pool area could have been cleaner.

Good location. Great dinner in the restaurant. Nice pool.
