    Pros +

    • Location is the best, very convenient to get here from /to the airport by train. Hotel is connected to the central train station by a couple of escalators. Room was very spacious , with nespresso coffee machine and a kettle for tea.
    • Proximity to our interests
    • The beds were extremely comfortable, the service was lovely, and it was easy to navigate the property.

    Cons -

    • The cleanliness could have been better, while I understand hotels have a high level of turnover, I did not expect to have dirt and grime in the grout of the tiles in the bathroom, or dust on the bedside table, for example in 5-star accomodation.
    • It is expensive, but I still feel we can forward these luxuries and estate there many times before and will continue to stay there, but people make places and Raj the manager of the food and beverages as live self, a great team, overrides any of the negatives. The chef is super good with his meals and what he made for Ballantyne today, superb
    • Bathroom features are a bit 'tired'

The staff were super helpful. Our tv wasn’t letting us stream so the front desk sent up a maintenance man straight away. He fixed the issue and was so lovely.

The location above Central Station is fantastic and works great with Brisbane's 50cent fares. Bed was comfy.

The TV had to be reset twice as internet disconnected. The second escalator from the station was not working and another patron helped me with my bag. No staff in sight.

    Comfortable aBed and clean

Tv showed no data could not watch

    10LornaPosted on: 2-7-2026

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

I found the room to be too old- could do with a makeover. The bath was shallow, the tv wasn’t easy to use, under the bed was dusty.

We have been treated like guests should be, kindly, we felt welcomed. Every aspect of a hotel was great, comfortable, nice food, easy to access, quiet spaces, lovely and helpful staff.

The bathrooms were a bit outdated but still all in all everything was very comfortable.

Located at (and above) the Central Metro Station. Makes taking the Air Train/Metro direct from the Brisbane Airport the easier option into town. Walking distance to Howard Smith Wharf.

Room was lovely and Annie at reception was awesome .. she organised a cheese platter and wine for us complimentary for my husbands birthday .. thankyou Annie for making our stay a special one !

Nothing really except a bottle of water for the room would be a great idea as normally supplied .
