Location was good for the purpose of this trip. A really comfortable, well-appointed room with close proximity to a pub, restaurant, shopping centre and train station - couldn't ask for more.

The check-in process was a little time consuming considering we had also completed the online checking in.

Carpet in hall ways and rooms smelt off, could also be carpet cleaner smell still damp?

We had a lovely staff member greet us at reception when checking in, very helpful. I think her name is Hannah.

There was a rude staff member at breakfast the next morning, not very helpful or pleasant. However there was another staff member who was helpful and pleasant, thus breakfast was ok. Thought the continental breakfast being offered was a good idea.

Great location close to shops, comfy beds, very clean. It was perfect for our family night away.

The only con was it didn't have a pool!

Pillows a little hard, basin plug not sealing at all, USB ports on one side of the bed not working- nothing too much to complain about really

We liked the location as had family nearby,The rooms are large, beds are comfortable, restaurant downstairs shopping centre 100m away with regular buses into the city which take about 1/2 hour, train station a 10 min walk.We appreciated the complimentary drinks vouchers & 10% discount on dining.

Pillows are very firm, it would be great to have two firm & two soft.We found the restaurant music loud - we had a musician with us & he asked for it to be turned down as we couldn’t hear each other across the table.We stayed 6 nights & only went to breakfast once, it was a very average continental breakfast.

Breakfast was very lacking. I had 2 pieces of raisin toast, coffee and juice. There was no yoghurt left and a few scungy pieces of fruit.
