Cosmo Apartment Hotel

Ideal if wishing to stay near Milton Train Station (but also conveniently close to bus access). Balcony views are a nice bonus for the price. The Chinese restaurant on the ground level is a local neighbourhood gem.

Great restaurants within 5 minute walk. Close to ferry and train. Lovely view. Easy and secure car parking.

Ran short of hot water one day. There is a room note saying it is a building or hot water system design issue. Regardless, would happily stay again.

Everything was great from first contact with staff at the front desk all the way till checkout. Room was comfortable and view on balcony was great

Smart, comfortable apartment. Well-presented and very quiet. Excellent location, very close to a range of restaurants, short walk to the train and directly opposite a water taxi stop on the river.

Location. I've stayed here many times but not since new management. Staff were lovely.

My room was not up to my previous stays standards. I was given what I think was the worst room there.

EVERYTHING! Every room has a balcony and washer and dryer. I can come home with clean clothes ready for the closet.

Perfect location right next to the ferry, and only a short walk from the train station. We found the room comfortable and the staff were so, so lovely. We made use of the gym and sauna, and overall had a wonderful time!

Having the beds made is always something I look forward to when I stay in a hotel, but Cosmo doesn't do this for guests staying less than 5 nights. That's just a small comfort I enjoy that I had to do without this time, I have no complaints!

Quiet and comfortable, easy walk to restaurants. Apartment had kitchen facilities which we used. Air con was brilliant and easy to use.

Bathroom could do with a make over but was still good. Loved having a bath and doing washing.

This is a great location from which to explore the Milton area. There are lots of cafes within walking distance. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette and laundry. The food from the Chinese restaurant downstairs was delicious.

They have a big list of rules which I always find very off-putting. For example, you should wash and put your dishes away before leaving, empty the rubbish etc. For nearly $300 a night, I expect this to be taken care of by housekeeping. It wasn't a big deal, and I generally enjoyed staying at this property.

The bath leaked under the floor tiles and so water came into the bedroom next to the bed,some acrobatics were needed to get into bed with dry feet. Staff checked it out but did not seem to do anything about it.

The location is very central, easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops. The underground parking is an absolute winner with lots of room. The actual apartments are excellent value and well contained with the staff always greeting me with a smile - it is my home away from home when I stay in Brisbane.

Always good. My 6th time back. I love the ease of booking in, and parking, plus the fact it is so reasonably priced for accommodation and parking versus all other hotels in Brisbane. Great Chinese restaurant off the foyer. Easy access either walking or taxi in to the city or South Bank.

Very noisy this time. Someone below me kept opening and closing the sliding doors, over and over again! At 2am then 6am. Normally it's pretty quiet for a city hotel.

We have stayed at the hotel several times as the location was very convenient for us, because we often visit family in west Brisbane. Having a washer and dryer in the room was great. It was really nice to have a bedroom and a separate living area. The view from the room was a definite highlight for us. Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful. (However, a few did not offer a greeting when we - or other guests - walked through the lobby even though they were not busy.)

Once again the room was only surface clean - meaning it looked clean at a glance, but it was not really clean. This visit we found garbage from the previous guests under the kitchen sink, the room and carpet were dusty (especially the carpet in the closet and corners of the rooms) and the floor in the bathroom was not clean and seemingly had not been mopped for some time. Also, we had to ask for the bed linen to be changed as it had not been done for seven nights.

Location to the city

The carpark is filthy and full of dirt, dust and rubbish. Don't rub the walls getting your bags out or roll them on the ground as you leave BLACK mark on the floor or bed when you unpack. The room is getting very OLD and dated for the price you charge and the waste of water, because of the time it takes to heat up is also disgusting. Marked walls, door and draws. It look like someone had wiped snot on the wall behind the bed. Overall the room is very dissappointing.

late check-in was difficult. Phone did not answer. Had trouble getting the code to the lock-box.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was public transport nearby that was very easy to use, with 50c fares. The room had all the facilities we needed, including washer and drier. The only down side was that the bathroom needed a deep clean, as there was mould between the tiles. There was also a damp smell in the room, which we think came from the dishwasher or possibly damp carpet.

Central Cosmo is our favorite place to stay when in Brisbane. We have stayed in all types of Apartments here and never been disappointed. This time, we were delighted to have a lovely 1 bedroom appt on the 4th floor with a lovely view over the River from Living and bedroom. The place was clean and bed comfortable, everything worked well. Receptionists and cleaning staff are exceptional! Met a couple of receptionists who were very helpful and efficient. We were kept well equipped with toiletries etc. Cosmo is very convenient for travel, with Ferry, Buses & Trains close by. We mainly caught the Ferry which is conveniently across the road and just one stop into the City and 2 stops to Southbank. We had 8 wonderful nights here and was always a pleasure to return to the apartment at the end of each day. I can't speak highly enough of this place. THANKYOU to all the Staff!
