Nice people, quality food without any pretentious flowery things. Tasty, well cooked and very casual.Portions can be on the larger side, but for honest prices, I think these people do ‘understand service’ and that is done nicely!

The accessabile bathroom was poorly designed and water went everywhere making the floor slippery and dangerous

We didn't have breakfast, because of the unreasonable time of 7am -8am on the weekend!!

We didn't like the view of a road and a motorway right in front of us. We didn't like the dangerous corner on which the entrance was situated and we didn't like breakfast ending at 8am!

The Darra Motel was good. Nothing fancy but it was tidy, the staff are cool, and the onsite restaurant was actually pretty good.

we discovered the rooms weren't clean after finding 5 packets of white powder on top of the microwave that looked like drugs made us worried about staying in there not knowing what they were we couldn't get in touch with reception about this either we didn't get much sleep wondering if someone was going to come knocking we ended up leaving at 4am and found a different place to stay

Great facilities and great location room was very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely had a lovely swim very close to rooms. Restaurant was very good, and food was very tasty, good value for money big servings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this motel. It was only under half hour drive to Brisbane and didn't have the big Brisbane prices.

Didn't have breakfast as our early schedule did not allow time..We were looking forward to a nice dinner in the dinning room but got there at the kitchen to find he had already stopped cooking and was closed for the night, disappointed as it was only 7.25pm and it says in the industry information booklet that last orders are at 7.45pm.So we had to order Uber ears instead :(

Conveniently located to public transport and public facilities for example 24 hour truck stop/service centre located short walk away from property.

A lot of roadworks & not proper signage was one thing that I didn't like & it was very confusing for people who didn't know the area well or not at all.

Nothing besides our room door being left open by house keeping staff after they finished cleaning it, and we were out. Nothing was stolen thankfully, but that is not acceptable in my eyes.

Clean, but everything was old and much of it was broken.It was extremely noisy, making it impossible to sleep. Two men were talking at a normal volume in the room next door, and I could hear every word.Even worse is the highway, which is not the owner's fault, but I will definitely not be coming back.

The two young gentlemen were very polite, friendly and courteous. The dinner we had was exceptional although it was way to big a meal for me.

For the cost, I have nothing to complain about and no one else should either.The car parking is tight, but again, not a big deal
