Hall outside our studio smelt like cooked rice

The proximity to the City and Southbank was perfect for us. The set menu breakfast was great value and very good. The staff, both at reception and in the bar/restaurant, were friendly and efficient. The free parking was a plus with plenty of car spaces.

The air conditioning wasn't very effective. We opened the window for a breeze but outside noise was too much. The windows are double glazed for a reason! The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak.

Location

Leaking iron, power tripped out, single beds which after converting was found to have a single bed doona instead of being changed to fit the now double bed. Hairdryer did not work and reception staff would not change. Room ridiculously small.

TV didn't work. Terrible cooking smell from neighbours. Noise all night from steel plate on road associated with construction site over the road.

Staff friendly and helpful. Great little cafe adjoining. Walking distance city and Southbank. Room was fine.

There was a bit of mould in the shower. The room was not tidied up for the second night.

Location. I was able to walk a few blocks and I was in the heart of Southbank. The large, open patio provided respite from the compact unit.

It would have been helpful to have written instructions on how to use the microwave.

Room was clean but dated. Washing machine, dryer and kitchen was set up with basic facilities that we require as a family. Good location, walking distance to the city.

Very basic set up. As we stayed for almost a week, we had to buy our essentials from the local IGA grocer ie handwash, dishwashing liquid, extra towels as management will charge additional for these.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable, even though it was only a double.

Extremely overpriced for what was on offer. The air conditioner was only just working. No city views. Even though we paid $667.00 for one night stay, they could not guarantee us a car spot.

The location

The bathroom drain stunk so bad and made the whole unit stink. The pool are is boring not even chairs. Bed not very comfy, the receptionist was fighting with me turns out she was wrong and then apologised but it was not ok. Staff in the bar and cafe downstairs were lovely!

The location was good.

The apartment was getting run down. The bathroom door was rotting. The bathroom still had some hair on the floor.

I was very happy with the location - I was at a conference at the BCEC, so very very handy to the venue, as well as to the Cultural Centre bus station, and to the South Bank entertainment precinct. I had been slightly wary about possible noise from the trains, given how close to the tracks the apartment block is. I needn't have worried. My apartment faced to the north and west, and while I could see trains frequently, I could hardly hear them and there were no vibrations. The aircon worked well! The bed was comfortable, and the place was very clean. After hours check-in was easy and staff were easy to deal with when I needed to speak with someone.

We loved our stay here and would definitely return. Perfect location. Close to the river, City Cat river bus, train station, and bus stations. The cultural centre is 1 block away as are many find restaurants and pubs. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Kitchen was well supplied and the bed and furniture was comfortable.

Nothing. It was perfect.

The apartment had everything you needed for a short stay. Washing machine and dryer, small kitchen (although only fitted for very simple cooking), a separate bedroom you could open up, and living room/dining table. Balcony also big but noisy due to traffic. Location is great, especially if you come by car. You can park here and either venture somewhere easily or explore the area/downtown by foot.

Perfect for our needs, both as locations and as an apartment itself, clean and with everything you need, I was with my son so it is not a problem to sleep in the same bed.

a water Jug to keep in the fridge it's needed and would be nice to have a smart TV for netflix etc...or to pair with your phone.
