Herston Place Motel

Close to Hospital

not enough soap in shower

good location, well priced and tidy

The location was great for the purpose of my visit and easy to get to.

Older style and room was quite small. I thought it was overpriced.

Super clean quite and close to the hospital

didnt have breakfastlocation was convenientparking was good

bed was uncomfortable

Close the RWBH which was helpful

Bathroom door handle was difficult to use, there was mold on the shower curtain. reception provided incorrect WiFi password after insisting it was on the tag for the room key(it wasnt).

Location to city

Shower in bathtub could easily slip getting out.

Beautiful clean rooms and close to the hospital and places to eat.

No iron in room.

Proximity to hospital

Not many car parks and have to carry luggage upstairs

motel does not offer breakfast. however there are many other options available close to the venue

no complaints. the area is quiet.

On a positive note, the housekeeping staff were exceptional, friendly, courteous, and very accommodating.

We had intended to book a total of four rooms. However, after securing three rooms, we noticed a significant increase in the rate for the fourth. I contacted the motel to inquire whether it would be possible to extend the same rate as the initial three rooms. Unfortunately, I was met with a firm refusal. When I asked to speak with the manager or owner, I was told rather abruptly, that it would make no difference. As a result, our colleague had to stay at a different location, and the motel missed out on an additional booking. The gentleman at reception during our arrival, whom I recognised from the earlier phone call, was noticeably unwelcoming. His tone and manner were dismissive and unhelpful, which left a poor impression especially after launching into a lecture about booking through Bookings.com and using the business name.

When realized my wife could'nt climb stairs to well he put us on the ground floor.Nothing was to much trouble.

As we were only there one night we found all tom our satisfaction.

good location, well priced and tidy

central location

no warning about the construction noise going on , smelt of disinfectant

Clean room. Good shower. Great location close to city.

It was easy to find and clean and tidy

Quiet location and carparking available.

I thought it was a little overpriced and I could hear movement of other guests through the hallway and in room next door. View from balcony and windows was a very close high rise building under construction.

Location to RBWH was awesome, it was literally a 5 minute walk. Parking on site. Room was a good size, comfy, water was hot with good pressure. Gentleman that greeted me was lovely.

My stay was noisy. There was construction next door, which started at roughly 6am and went til 4.30pm. There were guests on my floor who constantly knocked on eachothers doors until around 10pm. None of these things were the fault of the hotel itself though.

Great value place for a one night stay close to the hospital. Clean and tidy, comfortable bed and friendly staff on check in.

Parking isn’t always available in the small car park or in the street.

Location to hospital was good. Didn’t like outdated bathroom, very restricted shower over bath. Towels are very small and no tissues in the room.
