    Pros +

    • The price and location
    • Location close to many restaurants and central business district.
    • Mainly the location

    Cons -

    • There was only one lift working and I was on 16th floor the wait was very long at peak check on and out times. I left an expensive tshirt in the room and it was never found. I know 100% I left it there
    • Only one elevator was working; we were told by residents there that the second elevator had been out of servbice for more than two months.
    • There was a very strong sewer smell coming from underneath the bathroom sink but only could be smelled if the vanity doors were open. I reported it to reception and was told they would let maintenance know. Maintenance did not attend to the problem in the three days that I was there.

The location was excellent. Parking was right. Next door rooms were well spread out with a full kitchen and laundry

There was a very strong sewer smell coming from underneath the bathroom sink but only could be smelled if the vanity doors were open. I reported it to reception and was told they would let maintenance know. Maintenance did not attend to the problem in the three days that I was there.

    Staff were somewhat helpful

Location was horrible, scaffolding blocked the whole front entrance and the car park entry with no signage for directions or to say what the building was. had to drive around the block 4 times before I finally managed to find it. Room was so dirty, hair and what looked like toilet paper on the bathroom floor. Shower head was broken and unusable. I did bring it up to staff and they moved us rooms and promised a refund would be processed on the Monday but then I received an email saying they couldn’t give a refund because we left it too long to tell them about how the room was dirty.

    Location

Reception lobby was not attractive.Lighting in the bedroom and sitting room was poor.No notepaper in the room.

View was amazing, easy access to Restraunts and casino (Short walk)

Room had a funny smell when we first arrived. Not sure if it was the aircon.

Apartment was very spacious. Great outdoor sofa to lounge on. Beds comfortable. Fantastic location close to everything.

    Nothing to dislike

They upgraded us to a one bedroom from a studio.

The noise from the street. It sounded like car alarms every few minutes. Then construction one whole night.

    5MarkPosted on: 2-24-2025

Carpet was filthy, toilet leaked unless you took the lid off and stopped it. It was 3 star not Mantra standard pretty ordinary

The location is very good. Walking distance to botanical gardens, Queen Street and general city.

The rooms a very small. The fans need updating, the kitchen appliances need updating too. The fry pan was extremely worn, there where mix number of cutlery and no tongs. The parking was the most expensive I have paid at any hotel.

The balcony, the bed and the location

    Enjoyable.

Room key didn't work properly - took longer than expected to unlock door. Mentioned to reception a number of times. Lock needs to be inspected and perhaps repaired. Spare key apparently had been lost. Second key needs to be obtained as a matter of urgency in case the key rather than the lock is the issue.

Initially the room was not what I had booked however the manager was very obliging and moved us to a room like what I had booked.

That we were given the wrong room however this was rectified and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice modern apartment in a great location!

One lift was not working and thought $40 a night parking a little expensive.

    7PamelaPosted on: 12-2-2024

No breakfast where I stayed, just walked up the street to a cafe on the corner.

Washing machine, dryer, tv, the Balcony, It wasn’t modern, but bathroom, kitchen were very clean. It has more things then most expensive hotels.

Apartment has everything you need, including small balcony. Excellent location, easy walk to Queen street and Southbank

    8JessicaPosted on: 11-12-2024

Location is fantastic, staff are lovely and helpful, room was clean and well appointed.

Needs spare toilet paper so you don't have to ask for an extra roll. We were there for a week and given one roll needing to ask for it, but not a big deal.

    9KarenPosted on: 11-11-2024

Studio room was great, though no milk in the fridge.

We expected a coffee pod machine at this standard, or decent filter coffee pot. No milk.Charge for parking wasn't mentioned until we were leaving. Extra charge of $100 has also been taken from my account, no explanation and slow follow up of explanation...still waiting Dean?
