Friendly helpful staff, everything we needed was there, definitely will consider coming back to.

Only one thing, you cleaner's need to check showers the curtain had mould on the bottom plus on edge of shower floor. Mould will grow if not treated.

Our flight was delayed and staff waited after hours for our check in and very friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea/coffee. Towels were super soft. Plenty of parking and good pizza capers shop nearby.

The cost of the room, and the location

The room had just been painted/renovated, however it was such a strong smell that it was making us feel unwell. The room also wasn't 'cleaned' properly after the renovations as there was a chalky substance on everything which made everything feel dirty. There was a broken down car directly outside of the room where we should have parked but were unable to, which also made the place feel unwelcome.

Central location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, nice views of city and Mt Cootha, owners and staff very pleasant.

Absolutely nothing

cockroaches unless you like them. Went to get a cup In the cupboard, cockroach’s on the plates. Went to bed, about an hour later felt something on my arm, yes a cockroach on me I got up killed in t at 1.00am. Got to sleep take 2. Then about half hour later An other roach near my neck after that sat up in bed all night. horrendous place plus man outside smoking rope till midnight

Clean and bed was comfortable. Towels were very soft.

Advertised office hours to 10pm. Got there just after 8 pm office closed. No milk and “they forgot to put complimentary water in room”. Advertise free WiFi. Nothing in the room to notify of password. TV would not show just TV needed to be connected - no wifi password to connect TV. After a seven hour drive you just want to relax with cup of coffee and stare at the TV to unwind. Didn’t happen.

No great and will never...

Nothing as there were 2 cockroches in the room one was found on one of the beds alive. For a family room of 1 double and 4 singles there were no blankets other than 3. The place is in need of some repairs as well

Large rooms, close ish to city

Animal living in the roof, hot water didn’t work, room wasn’t properly cleaned before my stay, random hole in wall under tv, couldn’t close windows in bathroom, very loud beside main road, leaking roof while raining

Not much to like here. Noisy, dirty and very run down.

Needs to be knocked down or a major renovation at the least.

Location for an event attended

Old room, no Iron,, smelt musty old. One sheet on each bed, spare blankets one ok, the other old. Bed lights not working. Like an old flat in the 1960s, with chipped cupboard boards, doorframes etc. Curtains can see through gaps. Last minute booking to stay close to city for an outing after work. The receptionist wrote my bankcard number down, i already paid for the room and I was not aware they will ask for $100 deposit..Appalling...never again.

Location

There was milk but no tea, coffee or sugar supplied. No glasses or plastic cups so we had to all (small children included) use coffee mugs to drink juice etc from. No tea towel, face washer or hand towel supplied. Only butter knife’s nothing slightly sharp. Only lounge seating for 2 in a family room. And we booked this venue because it had a swimming pool for the kids but found out once we were there and went to go for a swim that it was out of action ☹️

Rooms smelt old damp had to treat carpet and use air fresheners everywhere and door on balciny didnt lock layout of room is wrong with such a tight narrow kitchen the main door was difficult to unlock

We where far enough away from the city yet still close quite place and good view of the city

Building is a bit dated, but room was clean and big enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Single bed was very soft. Pool was out of service, which was out of their control.

Place was clean - staff was friendly

Noise from traffic

Easy to find, had basic kitchen items, good bathroom.

Felt a little watch by some of the other people staying. No ability to cook anything decent.

What breakfast

Yes, no salt, no pepper, no where to hang clothes, blocked sink. Only one sink to wash dishes ( near the toilet)

Location for what I needed

Run down, drug addicts in half the rooms, beer bottles just left on the balconies and surrounds, had to ask staff to clean them up. Pool not working which my grandson wanted a swim and one of the reasons we booked. My daughter rang the police after concerns of a 3 month old baby had been left in the room when the addicts went out.
