Location and access to hotel via public transport system and accommodating staff members.

Water flooded floor of bathroom every time shower was turned on.

Comfy bed, good shower, clean room, adequate amenities.

One of the smallest rooms I've ever been in. Nowhere near value for money for what we paid. Very disappointed. The reception/restaurant/bar area is one space. Missed late breakfast as we couldn't even fit in the area with everyone jammed in at checkout time. Breakfast comes in a box out of the fridge - go elsewhere to eat.

No microwave inside the room, no toothbrush and toothpaste provided

Staff gave me some goodies as a birthday gift...very nice

It cost about $40 more than I was quoted...very disappointing. And the car park was also expensive

The bathroom was gorgeous and unit tastefully furnished

The jug cord not long enough to plug in we had to put it in the bathroom in a cup to plug in

There wasn’t a gym facility.

Lovely location, nice balance between the CBD and the valley, we could just walk everywhere. The staff were really friendly, we were fortunate enough to arrange a 12pm checkout at no extra charge, however we were checking out on a Sunday so this may be subject to availability! I thought it was excellent value for money, and we even got a couple little treats put in our room for booking through booking.com. I’d definitely stay here again!

I can’t say I can fault the place, it had everything we needed. I guess it would have been nice to have 2 seats on the balcony rather than 1? But overall fantastic - I can’t think of anything needing improving.

Good location

Room mixup where we were given a key and walked into another gentleman staying there, it was a bit embarrassing for both. There was also no bin in the room, only a small bathroom bin so we had to leave rubbish in a pile to collect as there were no extra bin bags.

Always an enjoyable stay. Great staff who were able to put me in a room I've been in before. The balcony rooms on level 1 are brilliant.The room was exactly as it's always been, everything in order and a little welcome gift from the staff waiting for me in the room. As a Hotel employee back home these are nice touches and are greatly appreciated.Definitely great value being a 4 star property. I'll be back very soon!

No room service, or a pool. The breakfast ‘included’ was very disappointing.

I liked the location of the property. It was very convenient to get to main attractions around the CBD & Roma St Station. On new year’s eve ,there was a wine bottle & complimentary chocolates in the room when I came back to the room after checking in. Took me by surprise but loved it

having a balcony, I could sit out with a cup of tea and enjoy the morningJust up the road from Central station, so could easily get my trainSome special gifts left for me

Friendly staff, parking lot good, room lovely.

Very clean, central location and friendly, helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great, large with excellent water pressure. The bar area was lovely while I enjoyed a wine after a long day.

The rooms were a little smaller than I'd expected.

Simple but effective for a short stay, facilities were good and everything was as expected.

Location is a bit of a dodgy street but that is not the hotels fault!
