Gabba Central Apartments

Great location to city. Large room. Clean

Only 1 lift. Smell in room and halfway from cleaning. Damp carpet smell.

Room size and facilities were good.

The floor was grotty. I had to clean the tiles and vacuum the carpet. When I took out the vacuum cleaner it hardly had any suction. So I emptied the bag and it was absolutely full, like it had never been emptied in its life.

Easy access , well informed staff & good location to stay put or to venture into city transport across road

Location is great....free parking is great.....living area size is great.

Reception hours insufficient. Off-site after hours assistance worse than non-existent. Phoned reception for help with replacement internet cable twice and no action taken. Very disappointed with the customer service levels.

Great rooms, handy location

Was is a shared entry corridor with one other room, the other guest locked himself out and proceeded to bang on my door for about 2 hrs, trying to convince me to open door ( which I did not). I helped him by phoning after hours numbers, took security 3 hours to turn up to let him back into his room. I was so scared and phone after hours no a few times when he was losing his patience in waiting in corridor...no sleep and scared for sure.

Property was clean and check and out was easy

The aircon in bedroom wasn’t working very well and the water pressure in the shower was terrible

Staff checking me in was lovely, the apartment was lovely and clean and big, location is great and surrounded by lots of shops and cafes etcWould stay again

Disrespectful staff who were not interested in helping. Room was not what we expected. Room cramped, Patio floors were black due to not being properly maintained even after a cleaner came in to clean them.

The receptionists were nice and happy to help us so we could get a new mattress to combine the 2 beds into a king sized one.

I requested a room with a king sized bed but got 2 single beds instead. The TV didn't have a remote so we had to request one several times to get it. Put some ice cream in the fridge but the freezer didn't work properly and it melted. Also the neighbors were very loud despite the "no parties" rule.

Super central with a Pub, Bakery, Cafe and Coles in the building.

There was a funky smell coming from the drain in the bathroom.

The bedside lamps didn't work in the main bedroom, however the receptionist located a replacement bulb for us. All OK in the end...the receptionist was really helpful, she did a great job!

the dishwasher had a faulty 'upper spray arm' which someone previously had tried to repair using a rubber band! Not an ideal solution...the spray arm didn't revolve like it was intended.

The bed linen was clean and bed comfortable

It was incredibly noise because of traffic and building. It had a terrible smell from the exhaust of the downstairs take away shop. The balcony was very dirty

The location can’t be beat if your attending the Gabba

The apartments need a lot of work done on them. The bathrooms are a mess, the floor boards in the kitchen are all squeaky. If you book through booking.com they charge an extra $20.00 for parking but if you book the same room with them it’s free!!!!

Location, spacious apartment. Foremost, reception/ office staff Alice was exceptional in sorting out our booking ( the booking had not flowed from Booking.com) and getting us settled temporarily and then permanently with minimal disruption. She was amazing!!

Shame sauna didn’t function. Some deeper cleaning required- dishwasher, inside wardrobes very dusty. Full sized kitchen but lacked some basic cooking equipment.

It was convenient for our trip. Clean and a good space

The traffic was very loud, and noisier than expected through the nught and blinds didn't block out city lights when trying to sleep.

The three bedroom apartment was massive and easily accommodated six hyperactive young adults. It was also clean and tidy, and the beds were lovely.

The outside of the building looks dated and dirty (the sign really could do with a good clean). Pigeo poo on the ground right at the entrance to the building. The elevator is very small and a bit dirty and dingy. Waited almost 30 minutes at checkout because the receptionist had to repeat whatever she was doing three times with the person ahead of me

Normally I get a great room with good facilities here. There was no kitchenette or washing/ drying facilities in this room and it was not cheaper because of that.

Location was excellent. Balcony view was nice and the rooftop pool was a great addition to our stay. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was well supplied with plates and utensils. Would definitely come again.

The car parking is a confusing maze that requires great mental application to navigate. Everything else is ultra convenient but the car park and the elevator access is unnecessarily complicated.

Location for the Gabba = Amazing. the room was large and the pool was excellent but for new years festivities not so much as it closed at 9pm.

There were a few issues i.e. lightbulbs not working, air con difficult to turn on and the room was very expensive for a semi run down apartment style accommodation. it cost more than a 5 star hotel per night.

The cleanliness, quiet and location. Easy parking and very easy to drive to.
