Mercure Brisbane King George Square Hotel

Great location to the bus stop and Queen st, pool and rooftop bar were great.

Rooms very small and pokey for the exorbitant price. Leaking toilet that you could hear constantly was frustrating, tap in shower had fallen off making difficult to use shower.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room smelt funny. Like a damp musty smell and old cigarettes..The room price was over priced for the expectation ms I had of it

Staff were excellent, friendly and always willing to help. They were able to extend our checking out time to suit.Location of the hotel was fantastic, in walking distance to everything.The rooftop bar and pool were fabulous too.

Again, in this hotel as a few on this trip, the tea and coffee were not replenished each day and I had to request more to be sent up to our room. Not sure if it is an Australian thing, these items should be checked each visit of housekeeping so that they are at the minimum at least, this being 2 English Breakfast and 2 coffee, amongst the various others that are there. Central to everything…the Queen Street Mall literally across the street, Restaurants very close, Suncorp Stadium not that far…just a great location

problems with Lifts on the Mercure side of hotel, had room only deal as lots available in the city, used the breakfast once not as good as it should have been

I didn’t like that. The pool was green and was not closed. It was disappointing because of whether it was hot and would be nice to have a good swim.

Thermostat was broken, didn't mind the cold but my wife would've liked to raise it a little.

We didnt go with the breakfast this time, but was happy to have a next door room to my daughter & family.Staff were friendly & helpful

From arrival to departure - staff were great the rooftop bar was excellent and fantastic location

The elevators are so slow.. I couldn' find the stairs, Yelling children at pool.

Tom on the concierge desk was a very helpful and had an excellent knowledge

A coloured woman at the Breakfast entrance was quite rude and referred to me as honey when I asked a question, I think her name was Carly. The rooftop bar was very noisy and had parties for non-residence of the hotel. We didn’t feel comfortable drinking there.

The location is great as you can walk to most places in the centre of the city.

Parking is very expensive so we didnt take our car in.

Cleanliness of the room was poor. The Couch had stains Had to pay for parking, wasn’t mentioned in the listing

Close to the Queen Street Shopping Area. Walking time is less than 10 minutes to get to the train station.

Have to walk up a big hill to get to the train station
