Pros +
- The location, the staff and the facilities are all excellent.
- I would love to know the brand of pillows in the bedroom with the twin beds. they were so comfy!the apartment was absolutely beautiful. It has everything we needed.
- amazing location!! 10/10 !!
Cons -
- The parking: the instructions for how to return the key, and get out of the car park were a bit confusing. the cardboard for the keyholder also didn't fit in the return box. So I had to return it with the card only.
- carpet was bit dirty i guess its old building and Gym and sauna are renovating at the moment
- I thought the lobby to the hotel was unique. Was really small compared to other hotels etc: I've stayed in. That being said, the staff member that was working on the desk was efficient and friendly. The place was dated, I expected that being an older hotel but great value for money.

We hired the sub-penthouse for the night. Room was big and exceeded my expectations. Room was clean, air conditioning was working and cold. Central in the city to go shopping or for dining and entertainment.

Comfortable spacious apartment
The kitchen facilities weren't great- the dishwasher wasn't working, oven settings had worn off and were unreadable, and some items were missing for example not enough spoons or water glasses for our group of 4.
Situated almost opposite the bottom end of the Queen Street Mall, everything we wanted was walking distance away anything furthur we caught the train. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable.
There was nothing I didn't like.
The apartment is a good size and comfortable. Great location.
The parking was a nightmare. If you're driving there's no place to stop with the car for a check in. You're on the busiest street with no parking. They give you a plastic card to get to the garage. In our case it didn't work...
location close to CBD and queen street mall
Intermittent fault on dryerDirty towel left on back of bathroom doorwifi incredibly slow
Close proximity to CBD. Spacious apartment with modern features.
Small shower space. No water provided in fridge upon arrival.
Location and room setting was fantastic
Window had a no curtain and temporary used sheets to cover.one Toilet was not working .one of shower head was broken and keep coming off when I take a a shower.no tissue papers were supplied.
very spacious most definitely exceeded our expectations. location was excellent, Car park fee was the cheapest in Brisbane. staff were very helpful. We arrived very early and the reception wasnt manned but I believe it was the supervisor of the cleaners who took all our baggage and stored it for us she was terrific.
The view wasnt the best but the room made up for it
Location was perfect, close to everything, room was spacious
Not enough parking, sofa bed could use a padded mattress protector.
The location was excellent. The building was beautiful, and the accommodation was a beautiful, spacious apartment.
Location is very central to CBD and major attractions and transport
All these feture items itemns not disclosed on Website or Booking engione:- Reception unattended on weekends, we arrived Sunday morning.- Have to walk 600 mtrs to another property to store your luggage before 2pm check in.- Pool, Spa and Gym all closed for months due to building works or maintenance.Whilst we were there for 3 nights....the elevators went out of service, so we had to walk up and down 10 flights of stairs. only became aware by seeing a nopte on the lift dooor.....No communication or assistance offerd by staff.Staff had no ability to undertsand mobility issues or to offer assistance to bring 30kgs of luggage down 10 flights of stairs....Also, no lift meant that the MacArthur Museum on Level 8 closed for the weeks the elevator will be out of service.So.....no amenity and no compensatory offer.............very poor rating is well justified.
Good location close to station and shops
No one available on weekend
Location is fantastic just on the edge of the Queen Street mall and close to the restaurants and pubs. Access in and out of the city to MacArthur Chambers is excellent. The historic nature of the building is a bonus. After hours support from Royal Albert staff was excellent. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and well appointed.
Guest parking was very limited and we could not find a guest park on two of the four night stay and had to park in Uptown Parking in the Queen Street mall. Also could not access the car park after hours as it was closed and the residence card did not work. The hotel lift was not working and the gym and other facilities on the top floor are closed and not available.
The location is excellent and the apartments are spacious. This is our second time staying here.
The lift to the car park was not working therefore had to walk through the shopping centre with our bags. This was not an issue however to access the car park at night, had to walk around to the car park entrance on Elizabeth St and then walk down the ramp to the car. I did not feel safe at all doing this as anyone could have followed me in or there could have been someone on one of the levels. To get out of the car park, had to walk up multiple flights of stairs in the fire escape. It was less than ideal. Our clothes dryer was missing the door. When I explained this to the front desk, they seemed concerned but nothing was done. There was a laminated note on the washing machine apologising for the inconvenience. My thought is that if you have enough time to laminate a sign, you have enough time to phone Harvey Norman or similar to organise a new clothes dryer. The apartment we were placed in wasn't as nice as the apartment we had previously. The room definitely needs some maintenance completed. The wooden floor is a bit loose in places and the door to the bedroom had nails sticking out of it. The second bedroom did not have a window. the shower in the main ensuite was a shower over the bath which I do not like.
location- excellentRoom good value
We weren't allocated a walk in shower as requestedNo desk staff on the weekendLooking into high rise offices across the lane way
Centrally located, heritage building. Has a loy of historical value. Staff is friendly. Has an old charm but the amenities need a lot of upgrade.
Beds are horrible with wheels undeneath. The wifi is really bad. the bathtub doesn't work properly. For the price paid it really is a rip off. The pool, gym etc are closed off due to construction which is not informed beforehand. A lot of amenities don't work well
Excellent apartment hotel. The space was impressively large. The furniture was modern, comfortable, It was stocked with everything required, from utensils and cookware to essential appliances. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the centre, with supermarkets, shops, and daily essentials just a short walk away.
