    Pros +

    • Close to bus depot for easy transportation to the cityFriendly, helpful staffFacility has just been refurbished and looked greatGood views from restaurant Great plunge pool
    • Won't stay again. the shower...
    • Rooftop Brekky was great

    Cons -

    • Pool was a bit cold
    • We hung our towels up on the first morning. They were taken away and not replaced. The shower was hard to regulate the temperature on the first morning. The next morning, we had a cold shower and complained with an explanation that everyone checked out and there was lots of pressure on the hot water. The last morning, our water in the shower was cold. I like to have 2 cups of tea at night. There were 2 teabags the first night, and they were not replaced as I used them. (This is a minor complaint) The hot water was an issue. 2 days without a shower is not great. When we checked out we waited for 15 minutes and the re was no one at reception. They were checking the car park. We left the room key on the front desk and had to phone to inform the office we checked out.
    • Shower drainage wasn't good, too slow, they're aware but had to make sure water didn't go into living area

Very large twin room with plenty of space to put suitcases. Good hanging space with iron and board. Large fridge, sink and coffee pod machine. Great pillows, comfy beds (maybe a little soft), large TV, lounge and table and chairs. Very clean and the room looked newly refurbished. Great shower pressure, large bathroom and good towels. Full length windows (that could be opened) with motorized blind. Efficient air-con. Very friendly check in staff. Great location next to the Gabba. Easy parking. Buffet continental breakfast (was included) was not gourmet, but very good with pastries, fruit, toast, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee, tea - plenty to eat and healthy. You could order a cooked breakfast and a barista coffee for a very reasonable extra cost. Staff were very friendly and courteous and the view is excellent. Great value.

Very minor things: cost of parking was $35. The entrance to car park was unusual as swipe access was on the passenger side and you had to get out of the car to swipe. Room was right on the main road, so some traffic noise is to be expected. Labels on soaps etc in shower were very faint, so without my glasses on I didn't know which was which (at first). Fan in bathroom takes 10 minutes to turn off (but they do you this in the hotel info)

Very bad system of taking deposit and returning it back I still didn't received my $100 even after 1 month..have to change this system better take cash and return it on check out

Lighting, deposit system is pathetic, wifi not good, bathroom no proper things provided, noisy

    Did not have breakfast.

The air con was not working properly, so it wa s a hot sweaty night. I told staff in morning and they said I could have changed rooms. That was no good for me late at night after a long day. Also my bedside light was missing a bulb.

We usually do not like continental breakfast and therefore we upgraded at an extra cost

    A better breakfast

    Good

Their is a funny smell coming from bathroom when you open door. Plunge pool didn't work. Kettle in room didn't work. And bads are just too soft.

Your receptionist was fantastic. I had booked the wrong day and she was very helpful in rebooking me

the was no way to open the blinds in the room

    6ErnstPosted on: 1-30-2026

    Good breakfast and good location

Considering this is the first time I have used this hotel chain, I was given a room facing a wall with the room window frosted out. The hotel had very low patronage so you think I may have been given a better room to encourage me to return.

Good aircon, comfy bed, all day parking easy to find

The “pool” was cloudy with who knows what in it. Some of the gym equipment was broken. Only one staff member out of heaps we came across greeted us, the traffic was so so loud with ambulances all night long

Close to Gabba for the cricket. Amazing food in the on-site restaurant. Bed was comfortable.

There was some dog hair in the corners of the rooms from previous guests dogs. No parking left on site during the night the cricket was on.

    Proximity to Gabba

No parking, no rooftop bar open, terrible parking options close by - we walked 3 blocks - carpark over the road booked out as well. I booked the night before instead of the day we arrived (my own fault) but they quoted on the spot $330 each room (2) - but we booked on the spot on booking.com for $185 per room - so a bit lacking in pleasant hospitality/goodwill. Just a very average stay.

    Proximity to Gabba and cleanliness

    Limited parking

    1KurtPosted on: 1-24-2026

Nothing this place is is a scam they say they're accommodating for pets but hide the fact that its $150 fee if you do bring your pet and that it has to be under 20kg. I booked a room for a night, nowhere did it say the under 20kg rule then once informed I requested to cancel my booking and they instead

    8PaulPosted on: 1-23-2026

Location excellent for the Gabba, breakfast v good. Room a good size and comfortable.

Carparking situation unsatisfactory. Eventhough we arrived at 2.15 (15 minutes after checkin opened) there were no parks available - when booking the room I was informed that I was not able to book parking, first come first served basis. I note that some people had to pay up to $150 for parking near the hotel.

Roof bar and restaurant was closed

    9KarenPosted on: 1-19-2026

Perfect spot for us to go to the Gabba. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit and the variety was awesome.

We were disappointed with the view as we could not see out of the windows because of the special coating that was applied.
