S1 Motel

2nd time staying here, great value for money. Very clean & basic but classy set-up. Staff is easily contacted & plenty of parking. Really close to the city too.

It’s very rough around the edges. The pool hasn’t been working or available for quite some time. The reception area is hard to find because it is run out of one of the motel rooms.

Air conditioner quiet and worked well. Shower nice. Complimentary products helpful.

Smoke detector outside window squealing every minute all night. No sleep. Television came on 3 times waking me up on its own, obviously being activated by room guest above. Skid marks in toilet. Frozen milk in fridge. People mouth scunge left on coffee cups and glasses. Bathroom door filthy and broken, unable to close nearly falling off its hinges on top of me. Mattress cover all ripped. Pillows hard foam and very uncomfortable. Sheets cheap, old and scratchy. Road noise horrendous. Bathroom window covered in a rotting sticker, blind filthy and broken. This place is old, dirty, noises and for $180 a night a complete let down. One of the worst motels I have ever stayed at in 50 years. An awful night I will never forget.

Was clean and organized

The twin beds stuck together. Was uncomfortable sleeping because the beds separated if someone laid in the middle.

looking at the building we were a bit apprehensive about what the room would be like but we were pleasantly surprised and it was much better than we thought. It had been updated and renovated at some stage.

Not enough car spaces for the amount of units and was not impressed by the check in system which is all done by phone. There are enough units to warrant a reception and personal care.

Room was clean, fresh and large. Quiet location.

Long life milk was lumpy so must have been out of date. Shower head needs to be secured.

There's was piss smell which annoyed me the most.There was no washing facilities.It was advertised as having a kitchenette, but was more like a kitchen-meh.

The bed have alot bugs . I woke up next day and my skin full of bits .

Very clean and modern rooms internally. All the extras for ironing and tea coffee

There was no reception and only staff on a phone and while that worked just fine I’d really have liked to see people to check in and ask for an invoice for my stay

It’s a wonder how this place can still operate! There was such an overpowering and disgusting odour in the room. Cockroaches in the bathroom and the shower! The bathroom sink tap was broken and barely connected, shower had poor water pressure, the room wasn’t clean, there was mould and even had previous spills still on the walls. The constant noise from the traffic made it difficult to sleep. Don’t be fooled by the photos, it isn’t how it appears! You certainly don’t get what you pay for. It was uncomfortable and sketchy and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Nice shower

Quite dirty, walls had brown sticky stuff on the bathroom. Curtains were duck taped to the curtain rod. Door didn’t close properly leaving a gap open at all times. The beds moved just by sitting on them and turning over in bed. There was no bathmat when getting out of the shower. Theres a large hole in the wall by the kettle where wires run through. Curtains were filthy with a white powder all over on one curtain. There was tape randomly holding things down like power sockets.

The access to rooms is very outdated ie stairs and I had a room upstairs. Taking luggage up and down was very trying. Linen was not fresh and had stains as were the curtains and lounge.

Laundering of linen to a much higher standard and clean curtains and lounge. Mattress was very lumpy.

The Bed was comfortable and the room clean.

Entrance door was broken, I could see outside as it appears the doors had been pushed, forced, broken so the door obviously needed replacing but it was still let to anyone.The tv channel could not work and after 30 of trying it was a nightmare.The curtains were dirty and it looked like no one ever attended to fix themI called reception and was told no one could help me for fixing the tv. I said to that person that it wasn’t acceptable… she replied to shut me up… I will call the police if you create problems… Now I requested my money back… she replied that because I had been in my room for over two hours I could not be reimbursed.. I took photos and left the absolutely useless place.What I am amazed with is that many people would be willing to put up with this kind of motel… I don’t think it’s worth the money and I don’t think it should be with booking. Com or any other platforms.I felt like I was in a third country… the difference is that Australia is not a third country…. We pay for value and for ALL amnesties.So S1! You have a lot of work ahead… I’d be happy to provide you with some training regarding customer service, I’d happy to guide you with maintenance of your room. If that was carried on your motel would definitely be rewarded

No breakfast

Mildew in the room, curtains hug with duck tape, I had to clean the microwave to heat my dinner up , it was covered in oily grease all over it. The fridge was frozen solid. It was a health and safety issue

Rm 10- a king room with bath - with no bath! Dirty, the sofa we wouldn’t even put our luggage on - let alone sit on.. lots of stains. Had bath listed on description which is why we booked it.. no bath. Kitchenette - 1 desert spoon was all the cutlery that was supplied for 2 people and dirty crockery which all had to be washed before considering using. Basin had hardly any water flow, pillows were rock hard. Pool was an algae pond and there was a bbq with no gas bottle
