Essence Suites Taringa

The hotel was exactly like the photos it was clean and the room was exactly what we paid for. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Convenient to my needs

We hired a room to get ready for a wedding in the Western suburbs and it served that function perfectly well. It is easily accessible by train and car and there is 3 hour free parking in the basement with undercover access to the lifts. There is a cafe with a reasonable selection just outside the lobby and lots of shops close by in Taringa. There are not many hotels in the area and this was perfect for us at a reasonable price.

spacious apartment (I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment)- well laid out - a good fit for my hospital visit and despite the drawbacks I still liked it - amazingly quiet for being that close to the train station - good parking - friendly front desk

no daily housekeeping, kitchenette didn't have much in it - no dishwasher - shower didn't drain well and soaked the bath mat each time

The accessable bathroom was excellent, it was the reason I booked this property. The onsite parking was handy, The location was quite good, lots of shops and food nearby to walk to. Excellent fast wifi once you managed to connect. There is a nice cafe next to the front desk.

The wifi login had many problems, but staff provided work arounds. There were many problems with the air con system, we were forced to change rooms because of a total aircon failure in our room. The east-facing rooms with a city view were very hot with the sun shining on these windows. The curtains blocked the sun but not the heat, so these rooms became very hot in the morning. Air conditioning could not keep up.

great location, walking distance to Taringa Station

extremely limited 'kitchen', microwave and a small fridge and sink only. this is not an apartment style accomodation, its a glorified hotel room. be prepared to pay for parking, wifi and extra sheets for the fold out sofa. no opening windows or ventilation, mean the whole room smells of any meals eaten or heated in the microwave.

Very helpful after hours staff enabled us to change our room because noise of raindrops from an outside awning was preventing us from sleeping. We transferred to a quiet room about midnight and slept well then.

Must pay for parking because only 3 street parking places outside. Cost $25 per night must be added on to price when considering this hotel if you have a car.

Essence suites were amazing, so helpful and accomodating for myself and my family and bridal party whilst getting ready for my wedding and for my new husband and I. The property was so clean and well looked after and the staff were so unbelievably attentive. 100% recommend!

We were in the area for a wedding , room was great , location fantastic , stroll to restaurants and supermarket . Didn’t like that after paying approx $250 pn for room you then also had to pay $25 pn for parking ! That should be included !

As my husband was having day surgery at the Westside Private hospital located in the same building this was the most convenient location! The Indooroopilly shopping centre was one train station away.

Beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable, great location and lovely staff. It was great having undercover parking and the cafe on site was really good and open all day. Lots of cafes and shops within walking distance and also the train station.

Perfunctory room with essentials.

Bit of a weird neighbourhood with no decent food options.apart from downstairs. Signs everywhere warning of additional charges, must have had some bad guests in the past. Plates, glasses etc but no liquid or scrubbers to wash up. Stayed 3 nights but had to take the full but tiny rubbish bag to reception and ask for another bag.

Staff really helpful. Location great for Suncorp and Brisbane cbd. Cafe attached had great staff and food

I have no complaints

The staff where very helpful off how to park and how to use their system. Which was easy. Having Cafe for breakfast and lunch was a bonus. Rooms where quite and my husband loved the shower.had views of the city and little view of the Brisbane River

Train station was a 30 second walk from accommodation. Suncorp Stadium only 3 stops away.Cafe on same level as reception which is great.

Not a lot of parking spots in carpark.
