Hotel is walking distance to everything we wanted to go to.

Tiny but functional sums up my experience. Width of the room is bed length plus JUST enough room to walk past the end. As one walks past end of bed the shoulder id under the TV and ones ear is barely missing brushing the TV. Only 1 seat is supplied.

It was close to where I had to go for my seminar

They should have a restaurant or cafe in the hotel

The Staff were beyond Friendly. Will recommend to others for sure and will definetly stay again.

Location was great. Loved the pods and the large room - with a desk/vanity area and so many mirrors throughout!

The mattress was a bit thin. I’m not a large person and I felt the hard wood beneath me. That’s the only issue I had with the entire place!

Great location, tidy and clean, attentive and polite staff. Perfect for short or long-term stays.

The only thing that was disappointing was the shower, which was cold.

My pod has a fan but not working. No biggy for me, just need to open the pod to get some aircon.

The location in Fortitude Valley was convenient

Checking in was a pain, it took me two tries to authorize my key, when I got to the room, I noticed that the bed I was meant to be sleeping in was taken and someone left a wet towel and underwear in there.I reported this to the front desk who at first didn't believe me until I told him to follow me and I showed him exactly what I was talking about. He told me that this happens all the time and booked me for a different pod in the same room. I arrived in the afternoon but I can't imagine someone who arrived late and came to this.It just reflects a poor attitude and discipline from the staff and Lylo as a whole. I have never had this issue before until now.The pod wasn't worth it either. I had to crack open the door by a tiny fraction to increase the airflow because it was like a sauna in there at times.

Privacy, kitchen, interesting

Location was a bit of a walk from city center. It's the red light district so I didn't go out at night. Not intergenerational. As a senior senior I waold. In a group of 20 and 30 year olds.

Location was perfect for Fortitude Valley train station,literally a two minute walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My pod was very comfy. And the kitchen facilities and rooftop hangout were a nice addition.

No kettle in the kitchen. Had to boil water in a saucepan. Not a biggie,just giving it a mention. There was an overstuffed,overflowing sanitary towel disposal unit In our bathroom that wasn’t emptied in the two weeks I stayed there,even though several of the girls reported it to reception.

Great location and liked the pod style bed in the dorms, allowing for a bit of privacy in a shared room. All the facilities were clean and clean white sheets and towels provided. Great to have a bathroom in the room and not have to wander down the hall for a shower. Will be back here if staying in the city again.

Staff at reception could have been more welcoming. Almost felt like a burden asking to put luggage away before I checked in. Other than that nothing to complain about.

Good location and near train station, easy to find something to eat

Only one towel is provided, and there’s no proper place to hang it in the room. People just hang their towels wherever they can, but when I arrived, there was no hanger at all, so I had to hang mine on the bed rail, which didn’t feel clean. I stayed for two nights and thought I could ask for a new towel for the second night, but it turned out that you have to pay $3 for a new one unless you stay more than seven days which is ridiculous. Also, the hotel only provides hand wash and body soap, but no shampoo.

Staff was amazing, made the stay really great, beds where nice and comfy, kitchen was good

Place is OK, but lack of staff was an issue

I arrived about 7 and on online checkin at reception which was OK. But the core issue is there is no one to contact if you have a question - no obvious number on the web page or in reception. Could not find wifi password (web page claims no password required, but there is), no ability to call anyone, responded to the two emails I was sent re: booking and both bounced back. The other issue was the TV randomly turned on at night and had to be turned off at the power point. Overall the place is fine, but you have to provide the ability to easily find a number to talk to a human

Really enjoyed stay. 8 people in the room, but didn’t feel crowded at all. Nice little touch with bed to be able close for a bit of privacy. Shower and toilet in the room felt cozy & homey

Incredibly clean and comfortable. This is the first hostel I've stayed in that didn't have any dirty dishes or other disgusting kitchen situations going on at ANY time. Not too social, not too lonely. It was great.

I liked the locker system and how you could dim the lights. The shower and bathroom facilities worked well.

There wasn't anywhere to hang up damp towels and the capsule's fans were very loud/rattled a lot. Due to a system error there was a mix up with beds and lockers as well late at night which was awkward but staff sorted it out. Bathroom floor was completely wet when I arrived so getting changed was difficult.

The friendly staff always met your need in time, and I really like the lounge by the kitchen sipping coffee in the morning sun.

Some visitors were a bit rude and selfish.

I loved how cleanly the room was and the common areas were fabulous! The lockers worked great to store my stuff and easily locked with room key. Additionally the individualized pods were super nice to get some good rest.

Location was great and the common area/kitchen was really nice as well. The room was good. Clean. The convenience to the train station was amazing.

The sink had a really bad sulfur smell and the water was brown. I did not care for the hot sleep. It was quite hot even with the air on.

All facilities were clean, the pod is really confortable, privacy is good, also well sheltered from the outside light. A bit less about the noise but I came prepared with earplugs so it was not problem. The locker is the feature that made me book this hostel. Very handy and big enough to accomodate a big luggage plus 2 bags.

Be aware that the coworking is only one table with 8 seats, so not so big but when it's not cold I suppose you can work in the kitchen area. The rooms have tables but the internet connection was not good enough to work from the room (but totally fine to watch videos in bed)
