Novotel Brisbane Airport

Near the sky gate so it was walkable to groceries, lunch, and coffee. Plus the bus route stops there.

Labeled as an airport hotel with a shuttle but the shuttle only operates one way for customers and it costs $8 per person.

Friendly check-in, close to the airport and very helpful shuttle bus driver.

As soon as we walked in our room all you could smell was sewage it was disgusting. Couldn’t stay in there and had to leave room.

It was close to the airport

When I arrived I was told the carpet in the room was still a bit wet. It was soaking and I couldn’t get to the bed without wading through the wet area. The shower wasn’t warm at all and in the morning I woke to water leaking from the ceiling of the bathroom and onto the floor making it an ice skating ring. Worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

Customer service and wonderful breakfast

We had to wait in a huge taxi line after 27 hours flying as the courtesy bus had ceased at midnight.

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to fix our problem. Gave us free drinks and breakfast and offered to change our room .

Room was not clean . Upon arrival found chewed up chocolates on the floor ,kids toy and orange skins on floor . Had to wonder if bedding was clean . We were to tired and unpacked to change rooms . Advertised as shuttle service to airport was main reason we booked here but found we couldn't be picked up from airport and had to pay for taxi next morning to return to airport . So what shuttle service ?

More option breakfast or least advertise egg your choice and shouldn't pay for expresso coffee on paid buffet

For the price, the hotel looked a bit dated, especially the pool area and bed. Service was fine but didn't go above and beyond
