Staff & great location

They believe everyone drinks black coffee. Nespresso machine in rooms however no milk frother- For btn $50-90 per machine surely a good investment & same at b/f. Room cleaning not good, bed left with tea stains for me to sleep in, had to complain to get changed- very good location however basic 4 star

We had the accessible room which was good but they should remove the wheels from the beds as they make it difficult to transfer from a wheelchair

Location is terrific for close proximity to shops and bars and cafes and surry hills. Buses are easy to and from the CBD. Decent hike from central station

It wasn't as lux as the price suggested

A lovely boutique hotel, in an excellent location. Busses run past to Bondi Junction and off to the city and Central railway, so it is very convenient if visiting without a car. In the snazzy part of Oxford Street, with great food options all within walking distance. I was visiting to go to the Horden Pavilion for a concert, and it was a 20 minute walk to/from, so again, an excellent location. Very comfy bed.

A quite small room (we were in the smallest) but still comfortable. There is a great lounge out the front if you wanted to get a bit more space.

Lovely little hotel in fantastic location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and entertainment quarter. Staff super friendly and helpful. Small, intimate room but perfect for a one night stay.

The bed was super soft and I prefer a firm bed but still comfortable.

The location of Mrs Banks in the heart of Oxford Street was perfect. I could step out the front doors to shops nearby that had everything I needed. My room was comfortable, quiet and stylish. The bathroom was spacious and the choice of shower rose or on the wall shower was ideal.I love how they have maintained the history of it being a bank building in a previous life. Make sure to look up at the pressed metal ceilings in the lobby. Also in the lobby, is a small kitchen, in front are table and chairs where they offer a light breakfast in the mornings. That was a nice touch. The staff were exceptional too. I highly recommend Mrs Banks for location, style and comfort.

We booked Mrs Banks as it was so close to Dom Dolla’s show at Allianz stadium. 10 minute walk to the stadium and Moore park rail station. The staff were super friendly and offered local knowledge and insight on the best coffee spots. Clean, comfy rooms. Free coffee, fruit and pastries each morning. Excellent location. We booked a junior suite and the room was very spacious. Would love to stay here again. 5 stars.!

Location, furnishings

Not very clean, noisy and window light made it hard to sleep.

Easy check in, great security, friendly staff, clean rooms, clean reception area & elevator, fantastic facilities, great location!

Location is amazing

Was told coffee machine in the morning.The milk buttons are covered in tape and can only make an espresso and then you can pour into your coffee cold milk, was told be staff member the milk doesn’t work. But I’d pressed the button and frothing function started with the spout but there wasn’t any milk jug in it. So machine could froth milk…we have same machine at work. This is deliberate that the staff don’t want to be servicing the milk…poor. Don’t make a point of saying at check in there is coffee in the morning…staff member didn’t care. She just lied and said oh the milk doesn’t work and turned the machine off and went back and sat at reception desk
