- I would not book this place again.We stayed in a private room and unfortunately had a pretty poor experience overall. Communication was an issue from the start, our pre-check-in inquiries via email and phone were completely ignored. When we arrived, the staff member who checked us in was friendly, which was a small positive.The room looked clean at first glance, but the furniture was dusty and there was rubbish visible right outside the window. The toilet had a constant unpleasant smell, likely due to poor drainage.Noise was a major problem. There was no soundproofing whatsoever so we could hear everything from the busy street below, the pub underneath, and the rooftop bar above. To make it worse, the hotel didn’t enforce its own noise curfew, and we were kept up by loud guests shouting and laughing in the hallways for hours every night between 10PM and 2AM.On checkout, we were told we could leave our luggage, but were given the wrong pin code and lost access to the building immediately after checking out. Since the place was closed and no staff were available, we had no way to fix the issue and just gave up.It’s a cheap place and might work if you only need a place to crash and don’t care about sleeping well. But if you’re looking for a decent or reliable stay, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I would like if the rooms have more ventilation and maybe more cups in the kitchen, I wanted to drink tea but I didn’t find cups

Near room 5, there's a balcony, and every night some people smoke and make too much noise. The smoke even reached the room every time someone entered or left room 5. I don't understand why they don't like the rooftop for smoking. It was an unbearable week, considering I like to stay at the hotel because I think it's great.
I loved the hostel vibe how clean and beautiful it is!!! So far my favourite hostel in Sydney. The bar downstairs is so cool and the bands and gigs. Javi from the Friday bbq is so friendly and sweet making everyone feel comfortable and helping building friendships !!

A great place to start my stay in Sydney close to Chinatown, Broadway center and the city. Very friendly staff specially Joaquin and Carmen. Easy automated check-in and check-out and lots of cool people to meet with.
I was refused because my age which i find unacceptable after paying for one week stay traveling from Thailand to Sydney then being refused after a long flight then finding new accommodation which cost me for one night $270.00
It's really clean hostel I have been in 4~5 other hostels like summer house backpackers, mad monkeys, but here is more clean.Because old female worker Carman is really sensitive to cleaning quality
The goood thing ... Ah ! You can enjoy many band small concerts events for free ?they have bar in downstairs, and it has live-music event normally from Thursday to Saturday !The quality of band teams is relatively high, the drinking fee is not expensive and sometimes they will give you free drink ticket ?There are 3 universities close to here, so you can meet students in this bar
