Royal Hotel Randwick

Service was great, restaurant was excellent, location was really handy. Comfy Bed and really clean.

I had expected a deck as shown in the picture and I got a room with a high up window which was a little disappointing but otherwise everything was great.

Clean, but small room. Pretty quiet given its on a main road and it's a pub. Very friendly staff who let us check in early

A nice clean hotel, I liked my room which was spacious and provided with basic amenities. The hotel is conveniently located near the light rail station that gets you to the city center and is close to the centennial park

Location was amazing. Close to Coogee and super close to the Spot for such variety of restaurants and cafes.

Stayed 1 night between moving out of my apartment in Randwick to overseas. Was really surprised with the hight quality of room for a Hotel - it's decorated well and really clean. Not the "pub" style room I was expecting. Also snagged the room at a really good price for the area as it wasn't a busy night.

A bit of noise from the crowd downstairs as it was late in the week and a warm night - but quietened down at a reasonable hour to get a decent sleep

Staff were excellent, room was comfortable.

As an elderly person I found that entering/exiting my room was a marathon..The stairs, the long hallways with even more stairs to access the room were like a maze.

i had a booking at the Royal Randwick for 3 nights from May 27-30. On the 26th i receive an email that my booking had been cancelled as there was a problem with my card. Later i find my card had been charged but then when i tried to move into the hotel the front desk was very rude to me and didnt let me check in. She said they will need an email from booking.com that i actually paid. As there is no way to contact booking.com quickly, I had to book another hotel for the 30th night. Till today i have not received the reimbursement. Very upset with the treatment i received.

Location was good. Being a hotel was expecting a lot more noise but rooms were quiet enough

I wouldn't really call it kid friendly. Stairs to the rooms were on steep side, abc kids app on tv did not work

near perfect experience, reasonably priced conveniently located near Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick. the only gripe was the thickness or lack thereof the walls, other lodgers tvs and snoring easily heard.

Staff failed to clean room during my stay, this was due to error by me with "do not disturb button pressed in error

The overall atmosphere of the pub and hotel was great. Iconic and lively but also comfortable and user friendly. It was great to have an Aussie pub vibe but also be able to head to the room to really recharge and sleep well.

The atmosphere and look of the pub and hotel, the staff where friendly and the rooms where comfortable and beautifully clean.

Very good location, convenient for meeting friends. The tram is soo close.

While putting her suitcase in the car, the cleaners entered our room and removed my wife’s HANDBAG from the room and left it down to reception, extremely unprofessional. I’m disgusted. Multiple large cobwebs in the bedroom, the water in the hand basin took ages to get away (partially blocked)

Cramped room. No lifts and no porter to help with luggage. Cleanliness just about adequate.

Comfortable bed. Very quiet even though above a pub. Would definitely stay again.

Location was good for light rail use and a range of restaurants

In the lodge section on the ground floor meant that we constantly woken by the slamming of the main entry door and noisy residents above us
