- Friendly staff, very nice comfortable room and bed. And good food at the hotel bistro.
- Front staff was friendly and helpful, plus got some drink vouchers for the inconvenience od restructuring there.
- Location , rooms very clean and renovated , the bed very comfortable
Cons -
- The fact that locating your room was through an outdoor fire stairs that was slippery and dark, walking through construction site just to get there. Trying to sleep when a guy is drilling in the middle of the night! PMO... The room was good, nice decor, plenty of space and clean looking. The bed looked good, til i laid on it, it was so soft it felt like i sank straight away...too soft, cleanliness was average, water was all over the floor in the toilet bathroom, was a leak coming from the ceiling, possibly the lights...found some hairs on the sheets when i pulled the covers..eww
- Renovation works and having to access via fire stairs ,, I hurt myself climbing stairs , the hot water in shower didn’t last ,,as we walked up the road to my dads and too Mounties its the surrounding area is so dirty with rubbish and non existent gardens - I’ve travelled the world and the western suburbs of Sydney unfortunately is a massive let down
- Must have got the last of the keg as beer wasnt great

Very convenient to Aquatopia Leisure Park and great onsite restaurant meals
Must have got the last of the keg as beer wasnt great
It was ok but I expected it to be clean
They definitely didn’t give it a good clean Hair on the toilet seatMini bar had half drunken water in it
Passable
The hotel is undergoing renovations. Access to the room was via a rickety fire stair. Construction started before 8am.I was charged a bond, which was not previously advised, as well as supplying credit card details on online check-in for incidentals. The bond was refunded promptly.Online check-in was mostly ignored.
Always friendly and clean
There are currently renovations and access could be limited for some
Fun and happy girl on reception. It is one of the cleanest rooms, and I travel a lot.
Just one thing: deposit for regular guests.
It was well located for the purpose of my trip and at the time it was good value for money. I noticed that in a subsequent week when I attempted to book the price had doubled. This was disappointing. Perhaps Room prices go up and down depending upon demand, a bit like airline seats.
I liked the property and the room. That was fine for the price I paid which was just over $100.For 2 February the price had gone up to $230. Same room, same location, same facilities.
The overal feel of the place. Its location and the friendly staff. The cleaner was super helpful and friendly.
Given the outside of the hotel looks a little old and run-down, I was cautious about the accommodation but it was beautiful, secure, clean and spacious. Sound proofing also seemed to be great since the room was very quiet. I would recommend this to fellow travellers
If there is every enough funds to fix up the exterior of the hotel it would be worth considering
Clean and comfy room with all the amenities required for a comfy stay. Had a nice meal downstairs and some drinks before using the room for the night.
Shower took a very long time to get warm. Never got hot.
Bad
On Tuesday 31 December 1:02 pm, I had spoken to receptionist regarding my two days booking from (31 Dec 2024 till 2 Jan 2025).she told me you can come at anytime for check in,when I had arrived after watching new year fire work.hotel was closed and I called them many times no way answered. I slept on my car then I book accommodation from Airbnb and requested early check in,luckily they allowed me.thats not fair I had paid twice just for two days.
When we first pulled up we were a bit surprised as it looked like a pub. My husband and I looked at each other and said, "Is this the right location?". But the staff were lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. In fact, it was cleaner than the Meriton in Bondi where we'd stayed the night before!
Comfortable accommodation, slept well.
Parking lot views of the trash cans
one of the worst steaks ive ever had , tough and over cooked
food was the right price but lacked any quality.
Facilities good. Room neat and clean. Well. planned. Couple of staff were friendly and helping customers. Good value for money. Parking is in plenty and convenient. Location is good with petrol station, food joints close by.
Treatment by staff makes you feel, a unwanted guest. No simile, friendliness not approachable.Security Deposit - Charged my credit card for $200 not usual practice. Stayed in many hotels in Aus. and overseas. No one charges your card when you check in but "place a "hold" which would get released from "hold" once you checkout. Moreover, I've never been charged even once by Night Cap Hotels in the past 8 or 9 stays, in Sydney and this practice was a surprise to me. When enquired, the answer from manager, "we are recently renovated". Could not comprehend and not logical! We expect night cap to extend their polices uniform and not selective in each hotels and for customers. They have taken my credit card details to provide refund but the refund is still not credited to my account.BTW, i booked through booking.com, paid the room charges (full) in advance (using credit card) and escalation/charges If at all, should it not be through them, logically?Complimentary Drinks - Booked a queen studio with double occupancy, Was told they can provide only one drink. I told them, i am eligible for 2 drinks normally with all nightcap hotels, the answer was silence and when asked again, response that only one drink. No drinks voucher given and was told to approach them for drinks with key cards/Cover. Explained again, its a double occupancy and not logical to be given one drink. For that, I was told by the manager to approach her after i finish my first drink!!. Could not locate her and have to explain everything to some other staff. This unwanted process could have been avoided. We do not expect favors. The emphasis is, not about spending $7.8 for a drink, but the approach not consistent with policies and staff being selective in treating customers. All we expect from the hotel is to welcome and treat customers with friendliness (to make their stay memorable) and not to make the feel left out/unwanted.
Well organised. We were surprised on how quiet it was, even know it was near a main road. Great location with a fantastic restaurant attached. Lovely staff.
Nothing to add. An extra chair in the room would be handy. And a cleaning cloth to help clean. Otherwise great stay.
Complimentary drinks on arrivalModern bathroomComfy beds
Sports bar closed early
The beds were very comfortable
Didn’t like that we could not open any of the windows to let some fresh air in. The cold water tap in the shower was broken, the knob was broken off and had to try and screw it on yourself to turn it in.
