Pros +
- Great location on Broadway near local restaurants, public transportation and a Chinese massage doctor next door. After walking 10 plus miles the day we arrived to visit the sites, the massage me and my wife got were amazing. Hotel employee was a great concierge!
- Friendly staff, clean bedrooms & a comfy bed!!!
- Great location, with Glebe and Newtown practically on the doorstep and Chinatown and the city a manageable walk or a short bus trip. The front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My room was basic but comfortable and had everything I needed. I appreciated the sitting areas the hotel has on the upper floors where I could curl up with a book after spending the day out and about in Sydney. I’d happily stay here again.
Cons -
- Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Manager was extremely rude, insulting, non-respectful of privacy. Hotel was noisy , including in early hours of the morning, and manager was non-responsive to complaints. Hotel room didn't seem to be very clean.
- I wasn’t a fan of the shower, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. It was hard to keep the water from escaping from the shower cubicle to the rest of the bathroom floor.

Staff were lovely, good location with heaps of restaurants and shops nearby.
Aircon was extremely loud. The blanket was dirty and had no cover on it (they put it between two sheets to try and cover it up)
Close to city and Sydney. Great that Broadway Central literally around the corner. Supermarkets, Kmart, Target
Would love a compendium in the room of places to eat. Where the nearest cinema is, best coffee etc
It’s very bad
The customer service he was so rude and harassing my girlfriend always and said when u finish party comeback to me even if i sleep wake me up
Staff were relatively friendly.
I am an Accor staff member from the Sunshine Coast and was utterly disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, portrayed as a mid range family room it was no where near, floors and bathroom had clearly only had a very mild once over did not seem mopped at all. It did not smell clean at all! For a room with absolutely no fresh ventilation the windowsills and window were covered in in dust and grime build up, the room smelt stale and strong with foul odour proving air-cons had not been attended to in numerous months if not years. Furniture displaying water damage was not ideal giving trashy vibes also contributing to obvious proof of moisture build up and poor air flow. I will never be back to this accommodation! Power went out during the night for hours causing the already horrible smelling room to be extra stuffy, woke up feeling terrible as if you’d had no oxygen during your sleep. Partner was awoken to lights turned by themselves at 3:30am! Very poor safety as the direct front door could easily be left unlocked by drunks as I even had to go back and push shut after walking my kids in. The worst stay for that amount of money to date.
Good location
Not enough light to read in bed, and ability to stream was broken and unable to be fixed during our stay
Check in, Check out, Room was clean, shower and bed good. Thanks
Staff at checkout was a little at odds.
Friendly and helpful staff
Need to change the room as the AC was not working. The room didn’t have any windows and the weather was hot and humid. Arrived at the hotel late evening as the flight was hugely delayed. So, we were exhausted and needed rest. It seems that the AC function was somehow overlooked during the room checks before the guests arrival. However, the staff on duty immediately arranged another room with centralised AC. That was a relief.
The location was fantastic, especially for tourists. It’s conveniently close to major attractions like the Opera House, Museum, CBD and SCG. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even allowing us to check in early.
There’s hardly anything to complain about the property.
The room was clean, air-conditioning was on, so it was nice and cool when arrived. Staff were nice and friendly. Close to everything that I needed. Would stay again.
Breakfast was unedible. Room was more like a prison cell than a hotel and the room was not serviced once in the 6 nights I stayed. An absolute toilet that you should remove from your listings.
Everything.
There was nothing to like. The services were not at a level of 4 Star hotel
Pre Check‑In customer service (I wrote an e‑mail/message to the hotel due to our late arrival and I didn’t receive any answer; long waiting period after calling from the lobby; unprofessional personnel)The AC didn’t workThe room wasn’t cleaned the following dayThe only window couldn’t be openedSticky floorsImproperly cleaned bathroomPoor selection of food at breakfastDirty cutlery and other unpleasent aspects
Room size was great and had mostly what you need.
Aircon was dirty. No utensils for the coffee our fridge was leaking water. Hairdryer had been burnt and parts broken off also our door had been previously broken into and had a large crack in the wood. For the price and not to have breakfast included in as a shame I like a more modern hotel to stay in personally and for less of what I paid breakfast is usually included
Close to Broadway shopping centre.
Smelly bathroom, holes in walls, beds moved very easily.
The breakfast was poor coldEggs dry inedible poatao gems. Watery cold baked beans. Juice was in a fridge that wasn’t turned on. Milk for cereal in a fridge that wasn’t turned both juice and milk were hot.
Checked in didn’t have the family room available we booked Family with young child. So they put us in two rooms. No air conditioning. Extremely hot Dangerous pieces of sharp l metal sticking up from the floor
It was a great location, the view of Victoria Park was lovely.
The aircon filters were so dirty that there was no air flow. We had to take them out and clean them. We told our friends in a separate room to check there's and they had the same problem. There was also no ventilation in the bathroom which makes smell linger.
The location of the hotel was accessible to everything around central Sydney. It was extremely close to the university of technology sydney and all the shopping malls.
The showerhead of the bathroom kept falling while I was showering. I stayed in room 211, and the shower was not attached to the base properly. It was really annoying for me. The walls were thin, and I kept hearing other people talking. When I arrived, a couple across the room from me were shouting at each other.
