The location is convenient.

There were lots of pubs nearby and it was very noisy till quite late. Better soundproofing might help.

Good location and helpful staff. Fairly comfortable and clean.

NO wifi for two days!!! Said a rat might have chewed the cord. Really? Left food / trash in a box for two days. Open food that had been cleaned out of the fridge. Room was too warm at times - no way to control the temperature in each room. Nice that we had coffee but no creamer provided. Laundry service was never offered, even though I stayed more than 3 days.

Very clean and nice for a hostel. Would definitely recommend to stay 1-2 nights if you want something affordable.

The place is super clean, and smelling fresh. I really enjoyed staying there, even though I only stayed one night. The staff is very friendly and has excellent customer service.

Cubicle style bunks with heavy curtain and small # guests per room help with privacy. Guests were respectful and quiet and did their dishes! A good place for working people or students - not a party hostel. Staff were wonderful. Good walkable location - felt safe though I was not out at night much past 7pm. Thousands of restaurants and shops in vicinity. Nice 30 minutes walk to Opera House, Circular Quay, Botanic Garden, The Rocks, or Darling Harbor, or 5 minute walk to Sydney's excellent public transport system.

The ventilation and AC need improvement. It was too warm in the room and common areas from about 6am to 10pm. Biggest issue is that when people cook the smell of greasy meat permeates the entire space - gets into bedrooms, your bunk, and never really goes away. This happened every night. It made spending time there unpleasant. Otherwise, I would stay here again. Only 3 sinks in female bathroom which can get crowded in mornings and nighttime.

Rmb u will share the room with others, so your morning alarm might not be loud enough to wake u up, or if it’s loud it will disturb others in the room

The dorms were incredibly comfortable and the staff were lovely. My flight wasn't until 8pm and they allowed me to keep the provided towel after checkout so that I could come back from a hike and use the shower. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of bathrooms so there was never a wait.

Not a very social atmosphere

I enjoyed the good size pod, clean bathroom, ambulant toilet, opportunities to self cater or eat out...

Microwave needs to be moved to the bench, it is in the way of MasterChefs.Consider having 2 to meet needs!Hook in ambulant toilet needs to be raised higher to avoid eye injury; similar to other toilet which needs fixing for ease of entry and space.

Everything is new and clean. Bed curtains provide privacy. Quiet atmosphere.

Expensive for a dormitory regardless of its condition.

Staff were friendly, location was great and clean amenities. Earplugs were provided at reception.

I have got a disability and did ask and required about a bottom bunk and told one would be available by Staff but still struggled getting to top bunk. Thankyou.

This is my second time staying at The Pod and I will be staying there in the future. The location is excellent, facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's my go to accommodation for staying in Sydney.

The entrance can be a little hard to find.
