Nightcap at Caringbah Hotel

Good location

Small room, rude staff

Booking in was easy, meals in the pub were good. It was convenient to where we needed to be the next day.

There was no ability to get fresh air in the room due to the non opening windows. Somewhere around midnight there appeared to be a group of people talking in the corridor, this continued and then closer to 2am there was a female very loudly swearing that could be heard plainly in the room.

Cleanliness of room. Spacious bathroom. Tea making facilities. Facilities that accompany hotel eg bistro and lounge area

Would have liked bigger milk carton for tea making. A microwave would be excellent for multiple night stays.

Convenient,clean, and staff were friendly

It was clean and surprisingly quiet. Staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Cleaning staff were always warm and welcoming.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating checking if we needed anything. Location was good..

No designated parking for the accommodation guests. Only car park is the pub car park so arriving back to accommodation at night on a saturday and especially with the pub having a gig on meant no available car spot for us and having to walk in rain once finding a sport elsewhere..

Passable

To get to your room you had to walk through a section of the pub where all men are sitting on their own watching a big TV screen. It made me uncomfortable, being a woman traveling on my own..

Location was great. Having a restaurant and bar onsite was one of the reasons I chose this accomodation.

The room was smaller than I expected, but it did look like the pictures, so it wasn’t misleading, just smaller and more basic than I had initially thought, when booking it.

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable our room was. The staff were lovely and helpful too.

Nothing, everything was great

Excellent budget accommodation for road trippers like us. The window in our room was all mat which would have bothered me if I was staying for longer but for 1 night it wasn't an issue.

Location was great for our purposes

The facilities were not clean- the shower recess including the soap dish had not been scrubbed and the bin had not been emptied. The soap dish had rust and residue and not wiped down at all which made us wonder if the shower recess and bathroom had been cleaned at all. The mirror was not wiped down and the bath mat. when placed on the floor from the top of the shower screen, had dirt all over it.

Convenient location. The pub downstairs was nice. Easy checkout.

So much light coming in the rooms over night. Need better blockout curtains.

Location and convenience, shower pressure was amazing

Bed was not the best too soft

The room was clean and the receptionist was warm and accommodating.

The wifi connection could've been better.

It's on a busy corner but I liked that it was so quiet in the room.

The bed was a little too soft.

Good location, accommodation was within the hotel which i did not realise at the time. good food in hotel and welcoming staff..

Parking if you have a car was limited

Great location with plenty of good restaurants....Boca Boca was a favourite. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and very pleasant. Parking easy. Would definitely stay again.

Checking in was very slow and lacked communication

I use this place often as a midway point when travelling for work. It’s secure, clean and has all the basics required for a good nights sleep. The food at the pub is good quality and not over priced, and amazingly for accom above a busy bar, the rooms are super quiet

Some of the rooms have tiny bathrooms

Great location, comfortable beds. Very clean, great value.

room was ok, price ok

Very noisy, music from bar very load, street noise very load, bed too soft
