Rendezvous Hotel Sydney The Rocks

Very convenient place from opera house, circular key boat station, and train. Everything was close.

The rooms are MEGA spacious. Actually the size of 2 modern day hotel rooms. There was a complete kitchen with utensils etc. A full kitchen with pots and pans, toaster etc. A family could have stayed in the room. I swam 120 lengths in the pool on the ground level. The gym had everything one needed. Free luggage storage. Check out 11 am.

The hot tub is permanently closed pending an upcoming renovation. The property is very clean but old and dated - which is purely cosmetic. The place was spotless

comfortable, spacious room, very clean.I phoned ahead the evening before to check if I could leave my baggage before check in time. When I arrived at 9.30 am my room was ready and I could use it immediately. Greatly appreciated.

Fantastic location, the historic townhouse was unique and different.

Bed was two singles put together with a big hard line. Pillows were uncomfortable. Room smelt like cigarettes.

The location was perfect place to stay a night before cruising as your one block away from the cruise terminal, however for us we had to go to White Bay Cruise Terminal

There was nothing that we didn't like about the place.

It had a pool and food services. The bed and room were comfy.

The location was better than we expected. It was a 1 minute walk to Sydney Rocks area.The staff were friendly and very helpful.The room was comfortable and very well appointed.

The location is outstanding and convenient. The view from our room was incredible.

1. The staff at the hotel are generally friendly but not responsive at all (with one exception) to issues that arose.2. Our room safe did not work but no attempt was made to fix it in the 6 days we stayed there despite repeated requests.3. The bathroom (Room 513) needs lots of work... it had mold on the walls and floor and we could not turn the fan off.

Incredible location and view. Very close to everything in the harbor and transportation hub. Nice area to walk around and explore. HUGE room and terrace with awesome view of the opera house !!!

A restaurant and bar would have been nice but many steps away

Excellent location in the Rocks area of Sydney. Pleasant staff at reception, very helpful. Our unit on the 3rd floor lacked a view that would be available if one floor up but the balcony was lovely. The kitchen area was reasonably equipped but we did not do any meal prep during our 4 night stay. Bed very comfortable, excellent wifi. Lots of room.

Looking a little worn. The furnishings were showing wear and the bathroom needs an overhaul. We were at the end of the hallway, in a slight alcove and it was dark & the hallway light was non functioning. I reported it to the front desk & it took a couple of morning reminders but it was replaced. The air conditioner was noisy and located outside the bedroom door . Having to close the door kept our room a little too warm at night.

the view was magnificent. while the room was a little dated, the view and the location makes up for the appearance. i did see they had a pool, but was not able to take advantage of it. the tea kettle and services were beyond expectations, but really, the best, was the view.

the room was a little dated, and had a few maintenance issues. there was a part of the ceiling that was aped up and looked awful. the showerhead was spitting out of the side and spilling over the floor.

We had a fantastic view of Sydney Opera House! Sometimes, there would be a cruise ship that blocked the view when we woke up in the morning, but it was not every day and usually gone by 4 pm

Property is a bit dated, but was really comfortable and we had lots of room!

Location is walking distance to train sration and ferries. Close to all the sights in The Rocks. Bed was super comfy.

The room was dated. The room cleaning could of been better. They forgot to wipe down one of the benches in the kitchen. Careful witb the hot water in showet otherwise you will burn yourselg. No additionsl kitchenware to prepare food such as sald biwls.
