Town and Country Motel

LOCATION WAS GOOD AND HANDY TO OUR CONFERENCE VENUE.

THE MINI FRIDGE WAS TOO SMALL EVEN FOR DRINKS THERE WAS NO SPONGE TO WIPE TEA-MAKING STATION AND SINKTOP.LIGHT WAS NEEDED AT LUGGAGE STATION. TV POWER POINT DID NOT WORK; PLUGGING TV TO KETTLE POINT POSED SAFETY HAZZARD TO AN UNLIT AREA OF THE ROOM.

Good price and not too far from where we were headed (Olympic park)

You get what you pay for and it really was a budget motel that felt in need of some tlc

Disappointing

The complex was a bit dodgy, unsavoury people in the other rooms. A bit scary at night, rooms could do with an upgrade.

Convenient for a disabled person like myself. Car park in front of ground floor unit

Shower and toilet area in unit 2 is wet as water unable to discharge after use.

Location

The bathroom was dirty. There were loud drug addicts arguing next door. The fridge was off and when turned on leaked all over the floor. The towels were old and threadbare.

The price is good. It's good for transit, I don't think it's good for long stay

The facilities, toilet door doesn't close properly.

The room was clean and tidy an spacious with large shower area.Car parking was off street and directly out front of your room simple to unload luggage.Motel layout had a nice country feel. Staff were very frendly and helpfull.

The curtain rail needed some repair,curtain would not stay closed .Airconitioner was noisy.

We liked that they didn’t have a mini bar they had a vending machine so we knew we wouldn’t have any hidden fees

The door chain on the door was broken on arrival and had to call to get fixed, the tv didn’t have any working channels we didn’t know there was wifi till we were leaving and the Italian restaurant is closed and has been closed since Covid also didn’t like having our room cleaned upIt was also pretty expensive for a three day stay

Clean comfortable. Friendly staff. Great location. Will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately out of the control of the Motel....we had builders on power tools at 7.30am for both mornings of our stay.

The place is filthy and cockroach ridden , arcons dont work , tvs dont work properly and very rude management , i would advise people not to stay there

Everything, could be a great place if they had the right management who cared about the guests instead of being a rude person who couldnt give a crap

Location to what we needed

Care taker was rude and obnoxious for our after hours check in , and was allocated a room next to a drug and/ or alcohol induced guest who kept us up all night even with the police being called - caretaker on site and there was no intervention with the person causing issues until the next day

I got a room upgrade

Single beds roled evrywhere on the hard flooring, take off wheels.

some of the electric plugs isn't working; the AC takes time to work in the desires temperature. The double lock fell off once we arrived.

Affordable and good for a short stay.

Smelt of cigarette smoke. No rubbish bin. A microwave is provided but no plates or cutlery. Can’t close the bathroom window so made for cold mornings/evenings.

Soiled beds mouldy bathrooms no fire alarm absolutley disgusting aircon didnt work had to as the maintenance worker for a heater as it was extremley cold we had to sleep on the floor with our sleeping bags as we didnt trust the beds

The room was fresh and the beds were very comfy. It was a cold night and the staff had kindly put the heater on in our room so it could warm up. I would reccommend it as an easy place to stay with families. It is 15-20 mins from main Sydney but an easy drive in. For the price it is amazing! Will stay again!

We couldn't get the television to work but that is because there is a special button near the bed which turns it on. Could do with some knoves and forks in the room even if they are wooden ones.

The lady on reception was really nice.

There was nothing about this hotel I liked. It was filthy. The carpets are gross felt like your feet stuck to it, the shower was terrible, beds uncomfortable, my son’s bed was broken and he had to prop it up with a shoe. There’s no windows that open so it was stuffy and stunk, bed felt dirty, there were bugs flying around, PowerPoints broken, tv cut in and out, we got locked out because they had metal over the door handles to stop people from breaking in. Bathroom flooded after one shower. Having a shower there was like showering in a toilet block at a caravan park. It was absolutely disgusting. Paid $180 such a rip off. Locals who live there outside yelling and swearing, people wondering around the car park at night.

Passable

One of the beds in our room was broken - grateful there was 2 other beds we could use! Multiple of the power points were not functional (one was completely broken & missing the switch)
