    Pros +

    • Had 3 rooms at the Park Hyatt. As soon as we arrived, the staff were so polite and helpful. We attended for my daughter's 21st and the young man checking us in gave a bouquet of flowers to my daughter for her birthday. Staff helped us unload and load our car and staff in the restaurant were very helpful. Rooms are absolutely beautiful and everything about the Park Hyatt was just exceptional. Would gladly stay here again.
    • Had a wonderful view of the Opera house but we were in a room with a leaking balcony which wasn’t great. Fortunately they did move us on the third night upper level which was better.
    • Good view and potential

    Cons -

    • We loved everything about Park Hyatt.
    • We disappointed when we arrived an hour and a half early that there wasn’t a welcome drink just to say pay you here. And then they forgot to call us or supposedly called the wrong number when our room was ready so we didn’t have to check in till all after the check-in time and we were just waiting in the foyer.
    • Dirty glass doors, hand prints everywhere and on balcony railing too

The Park Hyatt is exquisite. We have had stays starting 27 years ago - our engagement, and then 25 years ago, our wedding night... many more since then. The rooms, staff, attention to detail, location are world leading Thank you Park Hyatt… love it!

    The view

That the pool had closed by the time we got there after a very hot day

    10KeithPosted on: 11-21-2025

    Awesome location with attentive staff.

The dining area was great for breakfast and had a good atmosphere each morning. However, it was the opposite in the evening with limited choice, and even then could not deliver the limited choice and offered substitutes. This we felt, was unacceptable for a hotel of this standing…

Fantastic view - thank you! Quiet room, as per my request - thank you very much! Attention to detail of all staff Courteous, friendly and I felt remembered, i.e. in the Living Room, I had the same table the second night. TBoth nights the meals were perfect. Exactly what I was looking for to enjoy. Simple, clean and fresh! Breakfast was incredible. The options from the menu were outstanding and delicious.

Can I move in? Every hotel manager should stay here for a night to see how a hotel should be run! I couldn't fault anything, loved the pre-dinner drinks, room was beautiful with an amazing view, breakfast delicious. Location was perfect with walking distance to the Rocks, Circular Quay etc. Staff couldn't do more to assist with any request. Loved our stay and will stay again.

    Loved everything about our stay.

Le Labo products were very special indeed, they make my favourite perfume (Santal 33).The space in the room was great and every aspect of the room was spot on,(cleanliness, modernity and super comfy beds!!Breakfast was divine, my spanner crab omelette was delicious!

I would have preferred our king size suite a view of the harbour and the opera house rather than circular quay.

Exceptional location and very neat, today and comfortable

expensive, so unfortunately the frequency of my stays will be less purely based on the pricing

The view was simply the best, room was sufficient only

I was a little underwhelmed, with such a tariff i expected much more and have received better overseas at lessor hotels. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, again better offerings in other 5 star Sydney Hotels

It's was nice. Beds where small ,the room funiture was a bit uncomfortable, and seemed it came from a bigger room.

Wonderful view of Vivid Sydney & lovely comfortable room

    Staying longer

I was hoping to have a bridge view, but the view we did have we could see the Opera House to one side and it was very pretty. We were fortunate that the weather allowed us a lot of balcony time. I cannot fault this hotel, it is expensive but something I would try and include in my holiday budget. My friend and I wanted to use the room (as opposed to just sleep in there) & we did have some down time to use it. Fresh towels every day. That in itself is a luxury as other hotels do not necessarily do this. The breakfast was hands down the best hotel breakfast I have ever had!! Oh and the toilet in our room ....... don't be afraid to push those buttons!!! :-)

I didn't not like anything about the hotel.
