The staff and location! Plus it’s super cute

The room in the photo and real life is exactly the same. Very spacious, modern and cozy room. The service is impeccable. You have all the amenities you need (stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing/drying machine 2-in-1). Location is a top notch with Metro grocery store on the ground floor.

Everything about the QT Bondi was amazing - perfectly located right in the center of Bondi Beach main strip, above the supermarket and with many many places to eat directly below the hotel. The room was huge, with gorgeous, modern decor that was a step above the normal hotel vibes. Bed was very comfortable, and shower was amazing. Bathroom had a Dyson hair dryer! Staff were responsive and helpful to my requests, and the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. It is my new favourite hotel.

There was only a courtyard view from our room, but the spacious, comfy room, location and friendly staff easily made up for it.

Location

Not worth the value of money given the cleanliness and that there are no facilities and restaurants inside the hotel. Staff was busy on the phone when I checked out. Neither did she give me an invoice nor did she inform me invoice would be sent to my email. She just tried to get rid of me asap.

The hotel has a great location, opposite Bondi Beach and near public transport and lots of shops. We asked for a quiet room and slept soundly.

The bed was dreadfully soft and saggy. I asked for a replacement mattress and this wasn't possible, but the hotel staff were responsive and quick to put a timber board under the mattress which helped a litte.

Laura was amazing - so welcoming and helpful. A wonderful asset to the hotel! The rest of the staff were equally friendly, and I loved having a room I could open a ranchslider and get fresh air inside instead of being at the mercy of air con.

It would be nice if QT offered DairyFree Milk alternatives for the room, but there is a supermarket under the hotel where you can easily grab some for your morning coffee.

Amazing location, large suite with all amenities you need for travelling with a family.

Furniture was a little dated and some superfluous.l items. Staff weren’t super helpful or friendly.

The location was great!

This did not at all feel like a 5 star accommodation. The staff was “pleasant-ish” but with a very obvious tone that felt unfriendly and as if any question we asked was a bother. We felt nervous to ask them things or approach them about anything. While the hotel is clean, things looked quite worn out, old, dated, etc.

No gym or sauna - although it does say they have one when we booked so double check

Good location, very close to bondi beach.

The property mentions there is a gym on the booking.com website which is one of the reasons we booked. However on arrival the staff said there was a gym near by but they had no collaboration with them. Also I got stuck in the hotel lift when leaving the hotel to go to a pre booked yoga class and because it took so long to get me out of it I missed the class but still had to pay for it, no reimbursement was offered, I was just given a bath bomb from reception. Also as in line with a lot of the other reviews the mattress was very soft and uncomfortable.

The location is unbeatable—Bondi Beach is literally right across the street, just a quick walk away. Our room was spotlessly clean (10/10), and having a washer-dryer was super convenient. The supermarket downstairs made it easy to grab anything we needed. We also loved the free beach towels and rental surfboards, which made enjoying the beach even easier. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and for our second stay, after contacting QT’s customer service online, they ensured we had a firmer mattress, which made a huge difference. We finally slept well, and they even confirmed that our next booking in four weeks will have the same setup. Huge thanks for that!

Early check-in before 3 PM wasn’t possible, which was tough after a 12-hour flight. The mattresses are another issue—during our first stay, we had a mattress that was way too soft and worn out, causing back pain. When we asked the reception for a firmer one, they told us nothing could be done and even mentioned that they regularly receive complaints about the mattresses. Only after reaching out to QT’s customer service directly for our second visit was our request accommodated. This should be addressed as a general improvement, as it seems to be a common issue. If the hotel upgrades its mattresses across all rooms, it would truly be perfect!

Location is fabulous. Across the road from Bondi Beach. Bed was large and extremely comfy. Room had a great fridge and kitchenette.

There was a pungent odour from the sink that smelled aweful. We let the hotel staff know.This QT Hotel front desk seems UNDERSTAFFED!!! Only one person at the front desk. Long waits at times. Twice there was no-one even at the front desk, so we had to leave a note that we had taken beach towels.
