Pool was crowded

The breakfast was good , there was a variety of different types of food to choose from.

, I didn’t like the position of the omelette station , the way it was set out because I found that the people waiting for omelette’s were blocking or in the way of the other people who just wanted to get different breakfast items, which were in front of the omelette station

All staff were very welcoming and kind. Everyone had smiles on their faces at all times. I called the hotel to ask a couple of questions prior to our stay and she was very helpful and professional. A cleaning lady at the pool kindly asked if we needed more towels and brought them to us. We liked the warm and strong at outdoor pool too. Room was clean. No dust on kettle or bathroom bench like other hotels. Hygiene is very important for our choice of stay as we have two young kids and we were satisfied with this hotel. Location was great, close to both town hall station and museum station. My 7 year old walked everywhere from the hotel with no fuss. A bit of distance from china town though if you are planning to eat Chinese everyday. Valet parking isn’t available for SUV which was good for us as my husband didn’t want someone else to drive our car into tiny car park. Also, parking fee was cheaper as we did self parking. It would have been nicer if they notified us about no SUV valet parking when I rang them to ask questions regarding parking. Again, staff were very attentive and kind when we were carrying bags to our car.

Fridge was not working. We mentioned about the fridge to the reception and they said they fixed it but it wasn’t still working. We only wanted to keep some cold beverage and fresh fruit. The reception staff told us he would keep our food in the hotel fridge but we couldn’t be bothered to bring food/drinks back and forth. Nespresso coffee machine was in the room but it was out of order. We let the reception know but didn’t request another machine anyway. One lift was out of order so there were only two working. We had to pass the lift several times as it was full. No number was showing above the lift so we didn’t know if it’s coming down or up/ what level it was. It didn’t bother us too much though.

The location was very good

We like staying on high levels, so we booked one at this hotel. Note however that the lift on the way down stops at random floors without anyone to get on the lift

Excellent service, very helpful staff, great location central to everything, the pool looked amazing but full of kids due to summer school holidays, view was fabulous, room was nice modern and cleaned everyday for out 4 day stay.

The bed was comfy and room spacious.

This is out of the hands of the hotel- though the street at the entrance door smelt strongly of urine and the elevator was not working while we were there- we had to go through the staff areas to go via the service one.

Was told parking is on site called and double checked when we arrived rude person down doing bags said car too big we had called reception prior with our car type and size and the ladies had said all good. We where forced to park along way form building not ideal when I have a broken back and disability. Only ideal for people without cars.

Rooms are clean spacious.

Unhelpful receptionist Lifts are not working. Takes forever to get to reception from rooms

The location is one of the best.

The lift. One of them wasn't working. Every morning the lifts were very busy that makes a lot of waiting.

Staff/ proximity / bar tender ability

We had a bath that had more than 8 long black hairs in it . Didn’t use bath because of this .No drinks in bar fridge. Pillows not good

Great location and fancy inside.

Outside unfortunately smelt like pee and people begging on the corner of the street. Also the lift issues. I’ve been three times in 3 years and always an issue with the lifts. Wait times for lifts is shocking sometimes between 10-20 minutes to get a lift. One broken or one getting fixed and whatever 3 years now like seriously, is it my bad timing or is this on going issue.

Location was amazing for shopping and accessing the light rail for sightseeing

Elevators were having maintenance work done at the time and caused issues to and from room. We were often crammed into lifts with too many people and stopping at every floor from 23 floors up. Was uncomfortable and if I’m honest - may have swayed my choice in choosing this hotel if I knew beforehand.

Location and bed / pillow

The fact one lift was out and had been for 3 months - I waited up to 15 mins for the lift and when John have a businesg that is not acceptable. The hotel shoukd have said there was an issue with the lifts and long delays. I was very annoyed. Breakfast was also less good than I remember as I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions.They also have still not sent me my receipt on checkout.

Property was a bit dirty Bit noisy at night

After making my booking, I messaged the hotel to advise that I would need parking. This was completely ignored. I then called the hotel and spoke to three different staff members, all of whom gave misleading and inconsistent information about what size vehicle would fit in the car park. Not a great way to start a stay.I booked a king room on a high floor, but was placed on level 19, which is definitely not a high floor.When I checked my bank account, I noticed the hotel had taken an additional $100 that was not authorised. The bond was stated as $50 and parking $100, yet there was no reason to take an extra $100 on top of this.Upon arriving in the room, I put food and drinks in the fridge and went for a walk around the city. When I returned, everything was warm — the fridge was not working. I had to throw away all the food.To top it off, when I went to shower, both the conditioner and body wash were empty.Overall, this was a really poor experience with multiple avoidable issues.

They took $300 off my bank account for no reason and once I talked to perception they said they will give it back and no money was put back into my account!

Good location

Very busy and unorganised for check in. Not enough shade around poor area. Lifts were not fully operational making for long wait times any time you wanted to go up to your room or leave the property.

Most things

1. Lift service was terrible2. Check-in and checkout need to more staff you could have a dedicated checkout so you don’t have to wait in the queue 3. We often book 3 adults but mostly do not get supplied with 3 of anything and even when we have requested extra cups, spoons or chairs etc we find that the next room attendants take any extra items we had requested and have to go through requesting the items again
