Pros +
- Perfect location and quiet. Staff was very helpful and especially the concierge
- room was clean and well appointed, no noise from outside
- Handy to public transport - trains and light rail. Lots of places to eat nearby. Complimentary mini bar - water, juices and soft drinks.
Cons -
- There was no sun shelter at pool area and no where to just sit by the pool. Fridge didn't work.
- the breakfast was terrible, the coffee was not drinkable (even the staff were ordering their cofee from the cafe next door) and the buffet food such as the hashbowns were cold. The toaster did not work properly.
- Some biscuits with the tea and coffee would have been nice.

Lovely building. Ornate fixtures. Wonderful renovations. Very clean with good staff. Quality bed linen. Plush beds. Good lighting and accessories in room. Small coffee shop with a lovely menu just in foyer. Lots of bars and restaurants within building or close by. Very quiet in the rooms considering it is in the heart of the city. Easy walk to Darling Harbour and shops.
I could not fault staff, location, cleanliness or facilities
Location, size of the room, quality of the bed, linen, etc .
Lack of a proper cafe & and a restaurant.
Comfortable, friendly staff
Room service was a little average, particularly the quality of the food
The location of the hotel is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring Sydney. However, our overall experience was significantly affected by the way our family was treated during our stay.
We had a very disappointing experience at The Grace Hotel in Sydney. After paying for early check-in and additional breakfast, the treatment towards our family changed on the second day when staff claimed our child was “not in the system,” despite our Booking confirmation clearly stating 2 adults and 1 child.During breakfast, staff repeatedly approached our table insisting the issue was ours, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary. A supervisor even requested our reservation details in front of other guests. The tone and persistence felt discriminatory. We genuinely felt targeted for being Latin/Asian.This is not the level of professionalism expected from a hotel of this category.
room was nice and the bed comfyI was overcharged too much when I checked in and when I checked out the guy at The desk noticed this And refunded me the difference
Location is fantastic. Rooms are large clean and comfortable. Staff are always friendly. My go to hotel in Sydney.
Beautiful building, really comfy rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great, central location too.
Sydney is an expensive city to stay in, and this hotel is no different. It was a comfortable stay for sure, but I don't think anywhere in the CBD represents great value for money.
Location. Huge rooms. Very comfortable bed.
I am highly satisfied with the amenities provided by the Grace Hotel. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathing facilities, including both the bathtub and shower, were outstanding.
The nightclub's music was excessively loud, continuing until 3 AM on both Friday and Saturday, which significantly disrupted our sleep during our two-night stay. This is particularly concerning given the price point of our accommodation. We noted that other guests also expressed dissatisfaction regarding the noise levels. We believe that measures could be implemented to mitigate this issue and enhance the guest experience.
Clean,modern and staff were lovely

Excellent position. Staff are always pleasant. Beautiful rooms.
I loved the classic old style building with character . We really enjoyed eating our breakfast in the little cafe in the lobby . The room was comfy we used the pool.
The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in, the room didn't feel too crowded and I like the chair to relax in. Plenty of pillows available and the room temperature was great.
Good location, clean rooms of good size.
Worst cofee option in the room in the hotel industry, windows not opening with a chemical smell. Brekfast bellow average but many options closeby.
It was so well situated and the room was lovely and large with extremely comfortable pillows and roomy bed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We were comfortable and thanks to the few people that were very courteous towards us
I didn't like being asked twice on two occasions if we gave our names as we entered the restaurant...we knew to do that at the entrance. I noted that others were not asked.I personally chose the hotel with my travel agent.
I liked the size of the rooms and their modern and bright feel. The location is excellent in the thick of the CBD. It is a good, but better value alternative to the well known brands
Although, I like the early 20th century charm of the reception, the breakfast area feels cheap and should be segregated. There is also a pub on the ground floor in the same building, which is not part of the hotel, which cheapens the image of the hotel.
