Meriton Suites North Sydney

The unit was clean, modern, and conveniently located near the transit system.

The apartment was a little smaller than expected. The bedroom was too small to keep our luggage.

Good location, close to shops and train station. Staff were friendly and quick to help out

The lifts were very slow and had to wait ages for them to come.

Room size and facilities are good.

The room cleaner threw away our cloths that were on the floor during the partial cleaning of our room. Additionally Chinese reception staff were not as friendly or welcoming as the other receptionists.

The balcony and kitchen

No cleaning service. No food snacks drinks available. Had to ask for extra coffee and clean towels. Rooms were sterile. Not as picture shown. Coffee shop closed. Nothing to eat at facility. The whole experience was poor. Location next to construction freeway making it difficult to walk to bridge. Also the cost was way too high. They also overcharged me for NYE and it was a complete fiasco to get reimbursement.

Staff were very friendly and allowed us to enter the unit early which really helped us out. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Location is not great for access to tourist spots however it served its purpose for our stay.

The location was great for walking to everything we needed. The ferry, restaurants, coffee, public transportation, etc. We liked the kitchen, the size of the refrigerator, the laundry in the units, the view .. so good!

Pillows too firm and only one thinner one available

Loved the view of the Opera House from the living room as well as the one to the bay. I would have spent the entire day watching the harbour and the city from the armchair. Comfy bed.Clean, well furnished apartment with everything you need for a short or long stay.North Sydney is a nice neighborhood very close to CBD via train/subway.

You can cook to save money

I asked for a nice view but i got the construction views

Everything about the hotel is impressive. The rooms are immaculate, the spa, pools and gym are very good. The staff are extremely helpful and the views from the corner suite rooms are amazing

Nothing negative to say

Helpful, friendly staff; clean, comfortable, well facilitated room with plenty of space; great location, close enough to the Sydney Harbour Bridge to walk into Circular Quay/The Rocks area; good value for money, including parking.

The view out of our window and off our balcony wasn't very pleasant - just looking over a back alley. The king sized pillows were not comfortable for us (we would have preferred ordinary sized pillows).

The room was good, had a nice space to relax in and the bed was comfy too.

There was no extra blanket as it got a bit cold at night, and there are some heavy roadworks going on at the front of the hotel, with a jackhammer going most of the night, so it was noisy too. The room was also advertised as having parking included, however once we arrived, we were told the parking was $40ish a night and nothing was reserved, so if the car park was full, then you had to scramble to find a park elsewhere.

Very close (5-mins walk) to the North Sydney Station. Our room was on the 27th floor and the view from the balcony was just stunning! The room has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. We did laundry whenever we wanted. When we didn’t feel like going out for dinner, Coles (supermarket) was also a few minutes walk from the hotel so we purchased some food and cooked meal.

Toilet flush buttons were a bit hard to press.

Loved the room, I mean the washer and dryer for the whole week helped us so much. The bed was super comfy ? thank you! It was a great stay overall ?

The front desk staff were not so friendly when it came to helping us check in with our luggage, we would have hoped like other hotels we would get some sort of assistance. We checked in late at night and to our surprise we got off and stood outside for them to open the door but they looked at us and than carried on doing what they were doing until I started knocking on the huge glass door. We did inform them that we will be checking in late so I'm sure they knew ? but no harm keeping them outside in the cold for few more minutes ?

Well located and nicely presented. The staff kindly arranged a handwritten card and bottle of champagne to congratulate us on our honeymoon. Our request for a high level floor was also kindly arranged.
