Hotel Bondi

The location is amazing directly opposite the Bondi Pavillon. The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to help.

Well there is noise from local bars and lots of street noise. The hotel is honest about this. Do not book here if you are precious about noise. We were worried but it wasn’t nearly as bad as other reviews made out.

Great location, clean, well setup rooms, ocean views with a balcony.

Loved the location, central to Bondi with the beach across the road, great bar downstairs, and good food. The rooms are big and neat and the staff were friendly. we also had underground parking which is a premium in Bondi

We were on the first floor for Friday and Saturday night, both nights have a night club running to approximately 3am so the doof doof was a bit annoying by 1.30am and onwards. Although I would not want or expect for the fun to be toned down I do wish I was 1 more floor higher.

Location was great. I loved the minimalist style room too, that had character. The outdoor area on the second floor was great to use too. Staff were very nice.

Could have used an adapter for North American tourists, or at least advise that we need an adapter

Noisy

Incredibly noisy if you happen to get a north facing room. Bar across the street closes at 0100. On Saturday night it was followed by an hour of shouting and honking before people left. We had to check out a night early to get some sleep.

Location of the Hotel is excellent as I wanted to be in Bondi. There is a balcony accessible from the accommodation floor corridor that allows a very good view of Campbell Parade. It was not mentioned by reception staff as either accessible or available. Wifi worked well. Coffee / Tea and biscuits were welcome.

The room had one window that was almost at ceiling level and provided no view of anything. The facilities within the room were of a 3star or perhaps 3star+ standard. The information pack in the room was almost totally about the Hotel dining and bar options. A local map or guide to Bondi would have been a modest improvement.

The convenience of the hotel and location. Very affordable restaurant downstairs.

Noisy and you can hear people outside your room talking.

The room was tiny and a bit noisy.

The location is great across the road form the beach.

The room was really hot for some reason, so needed the AC on all night. Room had a great view looking out to a stairwell and condenser units which probably explains the hot room as there is no air flow at all. The room was very small so heated and cooled down very quickly and I had to run a power lead to plug in my laptop because there was only 1 x power point. Taxi from the airport was $99 but Uber back the next day was only $71 (same time of day) food in the area is really expensive and my stay was a Tuesday night with the pub downstairs I would imagine Thursday-Sunday could be very loud.

Our room was small, but bed was comfortable and staff were excellent.

Location is perfect for Bondi Beach. Staff were helpful about getting around on public transportation, friendly and welcoming! Nice balcony outside of room to view the beach! Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was excellent.

Can not think of anything some may say noise from cafe and bar downstairs but we were not bothered at all, we were in room 206.

What a beautiful place to stay …super friendly and relaxing… Benny’s beautiful smile and welcoming manner. … food fantastic….would be hard to beat for cleanliness and value for money

Lovely young staff members who went above and beyond to be helpful. Great location in amongst the action, with a balcony overlooking the iconic Bondi Beach, where we had breakfast. Rooms were nicely fitted out.

The downside of the location was that it was rather noisy on a Saturday night, although the hotel does provide complimentary earplugs.

Amazing location. Always friendly staff, easy to check in and out. Can leave bags behind the desk if you need to. If you get a room that opens up onto the balcony they are really wonderful.

I got 3 hours sleep on the Saturday night -motorbikes revving at 11pm until midnight and it felt like my bed was on the clubs dancefloor downstairs. Absolutely no soundproofing in the room i was in.
