- You can't beat the location for convenience to Central Station, and a great range of bars and restaurants within a short walk.
- It is close to Central Station
- Good price and location
Cons -
- It's nothing fancy - no lobby or other amenities, but rooms are comfortable and very reasonably priced. The WiFi can be slow, depending on your room location and proximity to a router.
- It's a dump!
- There was a guy threatening people in the lobby as my wife checked in, so she started by feeling unsafe. Then, in the middle of the night some other random guy started banging in her door and yelling for her to let him into her room. Incredibly scary experience for my wife and we were not given any kind of refund... Imagine your wife calling you in the middle of the night in tears because some stranger is pounding on her door and yelling to be let in. Incredibly poor experience without the staff even offering to try and make it right properly.

Staff very helpful and looked after bags. Great location. Great value for money. Good shower, towels, fridge.
Location is convenient and when the Korean manager is there it is satisfactory.
But when the weekend Bangladeshi students are responsible for the hotel there is always issues. I caught one staff member standing outside my room for an unreasonable length of time(Why...) and then race off as I quickly went to my door. Worse the TV system is managed by WiFi and three times my TV was turned off while I was watching the TV, the channel changed and google suddenly came on. Worse after turning my TV off at the power then going out one day I returned to find the TV power turned back on. Somebody is messing with the system and someone turned the power back on to the TV whilst I was out. The manager said apologies for the inconvenience. That is not the point, the point is some staff member is deliberately disrupting and letting me know they can disrupt me, and entering a do not disturb sign and turning on my TV at the power. Plain Bad. And after observing one of the staff member's behaviour during my stay, too often coming out of a room, when I come out of my room or approaching me in the corridor as I leave the toilet of when going to leave the building. It happened too many times to be a coincidence. He has control issues and if I was running the hotel both would be out immediately. The manager I believe is being fooled into thinking they are upstanding staff. I will not be returning
This was one of very few places I could find in Sydney that was relatively cheap without needing to share a dorm room. It was great for what I needed - very central (easy walking distance to Central Station, and I walked from the hotel to everywhere I visited during my trip), and a comfy bed.
The downside of being central is that the room gets a lot of traffic noise: you could often hear sirens and car horns going past in the evening. This didn't particularly bother me, but may be an issue if you're a light sleeper.
Friendly reception, and a clean, comfortable, quiet room. Very convenient location
It was very clean and the staff was very helpful
The bed makes some noise
About what I expected for the price, perfectly serviceable. Private shower and toilet, even though small, is very good to have for the price, and the location is extremely convenient.
My main complaint is the lack of coverings on the bed - just one thin polyester throw, not enough to keep warm in Sydney winter. I had to leave the air-conditioner on all night to stay warm, which is not ideal. Also no bedside lamp, meaning you have to get out of bed to turn off the light.
Comfortable double bed. Sink in the room with a fridge, kettle tea and coffee. TV and air con. Clean and good location near the central station. For a budget hotel or was very good.
There's no lift so not good if you struggle with stairs.
Good location, large rooms with aircon, clean, good bathroom facilities.
Right opposite Main Train Station. In city centre so good to get around.Bed was quite comfy. Room 7 very quiet (if you turn the fridge off).Washing, drying, ironing facilities supplied.WiFi was good. Bins emptied everyday and clean towel supplied.
Room 7 could do with a bit of alterations. Move the pegs to below the tv and put a wardrobe in its place. Put a few hooks near the sink and in the bathroom to hang towels. Remove table and put a few shelves up.
Great location, clean, good value for money, convenient, comfortable and friendly staff.
The location
Everything it was 0/10 from me The staffing was unprofessional and unhelpful and useless No towels provided just basically it was in bad state the hotel room pipes leaking and moulds
Located next to Central Station, the location is ideal for exploring the city. The accommodation was simple, but clean. The AC and wifi were much appreciated.
Mosquito netting on the window, as mosquitos did find their way into the room
Good value for money but you get what you paid for. Aircon and refrigerator working in warm weather which is the most important thing.
As expected the rooms were very basic, essentially it is about the level of a hostel but with private rooms. Probably the biggest disappointment was the lack of a cupboard, staff had to source a small bar to hang my clothes on. Also some of the rooms lack windows although given noise outside of the front this may be preferable.
The staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and having a fridge means you can buy food to make sandwiches or store milk for cereal and tea. The property is in a good location.
The building is very tired and needs renovation. Cleanliness was a problem I reported several times, but it did improve.
No breakfast included
Mattress' were very uncomfortable and there were only 2 chairs in the room.
The staff were approachable and very accommodating. We felt welcomed, and the place was very close to everything. All were walkable. You'll have a lot of exercise everyday.
The location of the hotel is very accessible to the train station and famous spots in Sydney
management should consider renovating the building. Its easy access to public transport and nearby tourist spots in Sydney could really help boost profits
