Pros +
- good for transport in Sydney
- Great location. Quiet, all the necessities
- Property was easy to access after hours, clean and tidy. Very simple but great for the price.
Cons -
- issues with service in room, ie no cutlery, sink tap very loose, electric switch in sink area very doggy. no where to put soap etc in shower, no spare toilet roll.
- Hair from previous guests was on bathroom and shower door. Bed cover spelled liked it needed washing.
- I stopped by the hotel several times throughout the day, but the door was always locked--The main door, the one that says to ring the bell for help. I couldn't get anyone via email or the phone and so had to walk all my luggage to a new hotel. Terrible!

Everything was good. Simple and cheap. Only problem was parking, there was no parking near the property.
Conveniently located and clean. The decor and facilities were modern and the staff were friendly and helpful.
It was no big deal, but given that I had a front facing room, there was some noise from the street - there’s a bar opposite. It was no big deal - I usually travel with earplugs but forgot them.
Location , price
Upon booking I requested an early check in (just one hour). This was confirmed via message . Upon arrival we were told we could not have an early check in and had to wait. We ended up getting in after waiting half an hour .
Nice rooms. Good aircons
Maybe they can get a lift, not easy to get luggage up and down the stairs. Busy street with parties and clubs well into the morning hours.
The hotel is very well connected to public transportation, with a stop right outside the entrance. Many of the main attractions can also be reached on foot. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful.
The reception area is quite small and there is no elevator to reach the upper floors. The outside area is very noisy and the windows do not block the sound well. The rooms have carpeted floors which feel a bit old, and the furniture is somewhat dated, except for the bathroom which is modern.
the space is really big and comfortable, and it's really great value for a location so close to the cbd. travelled everywhere with bus 333 - really convenient. the staff were really helpful and friendly - they accommodated to our requests and were very flexible with it.
there was small bugs in the shower and i spotted a small cockroach. the room gets cold in the night and morning during winter, and the heater wasn't working too well, but they had provided us with additional warm blankets
My room was large, clean and well equipped. Plus I was lucky enough to get a room with a view across to Centerpoint and the Harbour Bridge which was a treat. And I got a late checkout which is always much appreciated. The proximity of the hotel to the city was amazing. So easy to get around. Reception was excellent and so incredibly helpful. They tried to sort any issues straight away.
It was pretty noisy outside, but you would expect that for the busy-ness of the location so be sure to bring your earplugs. Also, even though the air-conditioner did work, it wasn’t hugely effective for the size of the room.
We like the heritage vibe with high ceiling and classic windows. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfy and bedsheet is good quality, which we appreciate. The bathroom is clean and neat. The location is quite central and within a short walk to the Hyde Park with easy access to public transport.
The lobby is pretty basic but fit for purpose. There is not much space around the reception area so there is no seating area and we aren't sure if there is temporary luggage storage available. There is no elevator so we had to carry our luggages up the stairs. Once we get passed the reception and the stairs, we are delighted with the room and the bed, so it's all good.
Excellent location offering ease of access to public transport & variety of food options
It was just a bit noisy at night at times
Great location, clean room to stay in Sydney
A great, budget hotel on Oxford Street. Staff very friendly and let me check out late. Room has everything you need, and some nice, pretty cheap mini bar snacks. Would recommend!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My mother and I have mobility issues and Mark was so very helpful. The room was spacious and beds very big and comfortable. Would recommend to others and would stay again.
The only thing that made the trip difficult was not having a lift and all of the rooms are on the upper floor. However Mark helped us to overcome the issues, couldn’t be more helpful.
Staff were absolutely fantastic and the rooms were big and spacious.
The location is not the nicest. Lots of people walking past after clubbing, spewing near the window. There was also some glass missing in one of the windows in our room so it made it all a but louder.
The spacious room and the quality of house keeping and friendly staffs.
There were noisy in the middle of night due to the sound of vehicle and inconsiderate drunker singing at the alley.
it was clean
i didnt no it was in the middle of a gay place , im not bothered but was a it embarrassing to b there with my kids
Friendly staff. Good size room and balcony for 4 guests. Beds comfortable.
Carpets not clean. Broken towel rails in bathroom. Only one bucket size bin for 4 guests. Very busy location. Lots of street noise before 7am. Drilling and hammering heard at 08:15am.
Balcony/terrace was huge with an incredible view. Room layout was perfect. Convenient location, really loved our stay.
No elevator- had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs, so don’t reccomend for people with a lot of luggage.
