The shower room was cleaner than others, had more storage space and was comfortable to use. There was enough space under the bed to fit a suitcase.

The bed creaked every time someone sat on it or moved, which was annoying.

The breakfast was yogurt and toast, not the best. And it was a weird/bad smell in the corridors.

Terrible experience. The hostel is really dirty: the room, kitchen, and common areas all show a clear lack of hygiene.A $40 deposit is required upon arrival, not clearly mentioned on Booking. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, even though I had two large suitcases.You may end up on the third floor with no elevator, another surprise not mentioned online.They also made a pricing mistake on Booking and charged me again without explanation. When I asked, the staff was completely unfriendly.Photos on Booking are misleading; the hostel is much more unsanitary in reality.Do not stay here.

We hardly slept. We would...

We checked in exactly at 3pm, but check-in took well over 3 hours. We carried our heavy suitcases up the dirty stairs to the top floor that led to our room. It turned out that the hostel had double-booked our beds, so there were 5 of us divided into 4 beds. We were then assigned a new room on the other side of the hostel, on the top floor. We patiently carried our suitcases down all the floors, and back up three floors. When we arrived at our new room, the bed linen was stained and clearly used. We complained about this, but the staff didn't think the bed linen was dirty enough. The stuff said: "You're in a hostel after all?

The location is nice, pretty close to the train station. The bed was comfortable and the showers were perfect. I stayed in a two beds room, even a paid for a room with more guests, so it was incredible.

The hostel is really old but very clean. I tried to use the luggage room before my check-in but it was completely full. I left my bag in the reception and I didn’t have any problems, but it wasn’t safe. I know that is just a courtesy, but I hope they create another space for that.

There is absolutely nothing good to say about this accommodation. The room was dirty, there was visible mold, and one of the window panes was missing. The window was completely insecure, and there were cockroaches everywhere. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable.Because of these conditions, we decided to check out immediately. We spoke to the manager, who promised us a refund. After that, he never replied to our messages again.This was by far the worst hostel we have ever stayed in – and we have traveled a lot.If you are looking for a clean hostel where you can feel comfortable, this is not the right place!

The property was well located.

The kitchen and toilets were not maintained well. The locks to the room didn’t always work properly either. There were some cockroaches in the property as well.

Degeulasse, with a bunch of cockroaches, the common rooms and the kitchen are never clean

The bed wasn’t ready. My roommate told me that it was dirty. No one really checked about availability of the sheets. The whole accommodation wasn’t clean. Towels on the floor. Messy bathrooms and bike batteries all over the hallway.

The girl who checked me in was very nice, she worked in King’s Cross. Other than that, nothing. This hostel is a kip.

Everything.I booked potts point but had to run to find the King’s Cross location to check in... I woke up with bites on my fingers, shoulders and back…. Only one type of bug that operates at night like that…No specific bed with my name on it, I was told just take an empty one. I left and came back and found my clothes on the ground and someone else name on the bed.I was ok the top floor. The only bathroom on that floor was…. Out of order…..Room was never actually clean.

The staff is the only thing that I can say it was okay..

This hostel is a scam !!. They are a second hostel from another one who is not even so close to this one. Don't waste your money staying here.First of all, they offer you breakfast included through the app, but they don't say to you that you need to walk 5 minutes to the main hostel to have it before doing the booking. (YES, you need to go to the main hostel to have breakfast)Secondly the place is very dirty and a lot of the showers and the toilets are not working and they never have toilet paper.Thirdly, the place is a mess, the reception only work for a few hours and after that, you need to go to the main hostel if you have any problem or any emergency. The kitchen is always full and the common areas are very messy and dirty too. The entire building is awful and very ruined.Seriously, for the same money, you can find heaps of places with high standard instead this one.DONT WASTE TOUR MONEY HERE !

Location is good. CBD and opera house about 30 mins walk, so that’s perfect.

It was very dirty. My room hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was dust and hairs everywhere. The toilet floor was wet all the time and the shower was small and 1 hook for all my stuff.

It’s just gross. My booking got reassigned to a different room which ended up splitting my group all into separate rooms. My door code didn’t work after 1 day and the front desk is impossible to get in touch with as it just goes to voicemail immediately. Majority of the guests are French people who live in the facility long term and just treat the place as their own that guests just sleep in. They don’t respect the common space or even your own room when they come in chatting and laughing, turning on the lights when they get back from delivering uber at 2am. They constantly leave the kitchen and eating area a disgusting mess, despite the supposed $40 charge for not doing dishes. No rules are implemented so your rooms are a disaster as the floor and other beds are just covered in clothes. The showers barely work and when they do it takes 10 minutes for the water to heat up. Overall this place is disgusting.

The room and the bed were very comfy - and everyday someone came in and vacuumed the floor. The location was very good close to Kings Cross Station and a short walk to the CBD. The breakfast served at the Trademark Hostel nearby was very good

The bathrooms were very dirty and were always completely wet-and the showers were unfortunately either hot as hell or freezing cold -there was no inbetween.The kitchen was missing a few things: a can opener for example or a clean towel to dry the dishes.

this is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in Sydney. The hostel has no front desk staff; you have to go to another hotel to check in and renew your stay. If you book online, it won't automatically extend your room password for you; you must go to another hotel to request the password yourself. Otherwise, you might be moved to another room, which is very unfriendly for someone who wants to sleep in after a tiring day. The toilet always feels unclean, and the tissues in the trash can are always full, falling everywhere. No one clean from morning till night. The light in the bathroom and toilet are controlled by voice commands, which is inconvenient. One of the toilets voice-controlled lights is broken and hasn't been fixed, so you have to go to the dark to use the bathroom. There are many guests but only three shower rooms.The showerhead in the middle room seems to have been tampered with and hasn't been repaired either. I had a very uncomfortable bath on the night before leaving, and the overall experience was terrible.
