Location was close to train and westfield. Staff were amazing. Bill from maintenance was very helpful.

The mattresses need replacing. There was no where to sit apart from 1 desk chair or these foot stool things. The room could be better laid out. We asked for single beds and they were so close together it might as well have been a double bed. They need to move the huge desk to the side so there is more space near the beds. The doors were hard to shut so we heard them being slammed the whole stay. Elevators kept closing before we could all get in. $35 for the buffet breakfast was expensive. We were told it was the better option even tho we didn't want much and the other options were the same food it would just take longer for us to get it.

This was quite a tired venue and really needs to be updated. it was very clean and functional

the rooms were very sparse and functional the shower was over a bath which is never a good experience

Walls are a bit thin- sound and movement was noticeable when trying to sleep

I stayed at Holiday Inn Parramatta from February 2 to 5 as a group leader, booking 18 rooms this year (and around 25 rooms last year). We returned because of our previous positive experience — clean rooms, good location, and generally friendly staff.Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience regarding breakfast charges in my personal booking.I had added breakfast for February 3 and 4, but on February 3 I requested cancellation. I was told that same-day breakfast could not be cancelled, but the February 4 breakfast could be cancelled. I accepted this.However, at checkout (around 5 AM due to an early flight), I was charged again for February 4 breakfast. The front desk staff acknowledged the mistake and began correcting it. However, the duty manager intervened and insisted in a raised tone that breakfast cancellations are not allowed and that I should “remember this.”If cancellation is not allowed, that should have been clearly explained when I requested it. Instead, it seemed to be an internal communication issue, yet no apology was offered. The manager continued speaking in a confrontational tone while I was managing a large group with a bus waiting outside.This interaction was extremely disappointing and overshadowed an otherwise positive stay. As someone who regularly brings large student groups and selects hotels carefully, respectful communication is very important.Overall, the facilities and location are good, but this experience left a negative impression.

The hotel is close to the shopping centre. It has a pool and it serves buffet breakfast.

The pool and spa are very small. The bathroom has a bath tub with a shower curtain.

Room upgrade to a very nice King bed and breakfast well worth the additional, with lots of great choices and standard buffet items. Checkin was very good with explanation in detail of all aspects of an overnight stay. Location perfect for a function in the inner west the next day.

Restaurant was closed and I was tired and wante dto eat in - pub across the road great but not for solo travellers.

Overall everything was good and the breakfast was delish. The room was perfect for me and my partner and I fell inlove with the pillows they were super comfy including the bed. And we were more happy wth the receptionist she was super friendly. I woukd recomment this awesome place to fams and friends
