I loved everything about 202 Elizabeth. Perfect location and surrounded by amazing food places,cafes and bars. Clean and comfortable. Nice decor. Very friendly lovely staff. Wonderful continental buffet breakfast.

Nice decoration and the location is great!

Big issue with air conditioning. Impossible to get cold air. The staff told us that was service the week before and that everything was fine... No bin in the room and nowhere the hang towels in the bathroom.I don't understand how this hotel can be rated 5*...

Fabulous location between two train stations - Central and Elizabeth. Only 10 minutes walk to fabulous restaurants in Surry Hills. This is our second time staying at this Hotel, and we will stay again on our next visit.

Fluffed up pillows when our bed was made. But that is a bit picky. We liked everything.

Nice and central to Sydney attractions. Hotel really good in allowing dog to stay providing a pet bed & treats. Really attentive staff.

Only issue is with no direct parking outside hotel.

Location and value

Pretensions of 5 star glory, which is gained by designer toiletries alone. Is actually more of a good solidly mediocre boutique hotel. The listing came off as a handful of air bnb’s with no service and remote/digital checkin. It’s better than that.

Breakfast was great, staff were extremely helpful, the rooms very clean and well designed.

The pillows - they were all too soft, it would be great to have a range

The staff were wonderful, welcoming, very helpful and attentive, at any hour. The room (The Oxford) was very comfortable, everything to hand. Thoughtfully designed. Hotel is in a convenient, central Sydney location.

While the soundproofing in the room is excellent, the position of the hotel is on a main road. If I returned, I wouldnt pay for a balcony as the rooms on floor 1 or 2 (the choices I was given) are too close to the main road to use a balcony. The entrance of the hotel includes the breakfast area which becomes a very pleasant comfortable airconditioned place to sit during the day. However they had an infuser on with the strong perfume of what seemed to me to smell like leather cleaner. I couldn't sit there. I notice smells more than most people so others may not notice. But for me it was awful and so unnecessary! Maybe find a perfume more generally agreeable to most people and keep it subtle?The rooftop area would benefit from some protection from the sun and elements.

Boutique style and small

Urine stains on toilet seat. Aircon isn’t cold. At lowest setting the air is still barely cool. Rooms have motion sensors so when you leave, the aircons shut off. Good luck visiting Sydney during summer when temperatures INDOORS reach 29C. When we complained, the staff agreed the design was dumb. And the other rooms were warm too. Manager didn’t respond when booking.com lodged our complaint for us. Poor form. They obviously don’t care. And this place is super pricey for tiny rooms in a bad neighbourhood There’s an aircon vent right above the shower blowing cold air down at you when you shower. Stupid design. There should have been an extractor vent (suck steam out) instead.

Great friendly service

Was in accessible room and it was too hot even with air con in 17 and full fan. No more complimentary breakfast

The staff were outstanding! We dropped off our luggage to enjoy the day in Sydney. We returned in the late afternoon to find that they had been delivered to our room! Wonderful surprise...

Great location for walking around the city. Very nice neighborhood. Breakfast had a good range of food. Staff were exceptional.

Location, air con, water in lobby

Difficult to enter without swipe card so on arrival. Would have been nice to have more complimentary treats in room ie bottles of water, more tea etcRoom wasn’t serviced on 3rd day not sure why

Clean, modern and good location, near Central Station and light rail

The staff were fantastic - especially Dylan. Everyone that I met was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much effort. A very clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. I've recommended it to many of my friends and would happily stay again.

A little pricey but not surprisingly so.

The breakfast were good and we loved the movies played on three screens in the lobby.
