Neutral Bay Lodge

I loved the shower, bathroom, and mirrors everywhere in the room. Room cleaned, nice big towels, hairdryer, and the comfy bed. Was a bit confused with find the directions to reach there but we did at the end after a few lost on the road.

The curtains just need a bit tidy up, otherwise all is well

The best part was that the staff was really nice and accommodating as much as they could be despite the fact that the hotel wasn’t what we were expecting. The pictures are much nicer than reality.

The hotel was really a low end, really out dated motel. The pictures listed are much nicer and it needs much updating. There were stains everywhere and wasn’t very clean. They didn’t have wash clothes to offer and we were told not to leave AC on all d

Very clean and comfortable. Rooms refreshed daily. One block from the ferry and a short walk to the train.

No aircon but the portable fan was sufficient as it wasn't too hot.

The location is precious. Walk to the water and breakfast.

No air con. It's hard to enjoy especially on a 32 degree day. The room is tiny, no table, only a student chair in the room. The mini refrigerator was keep making noise in such a tiny room making it sound like a plane. The room assigned to us is a separate room located by the street side, not the photo showing in the main building. Very noisy.

The location was close to ferry wharf and to shopping centre.Buses to Zoo and Northern Beaches from Neutral Bay.

Male and female shared shower and toilets, very risky with no staff present. My carpet had dust right around the edges.When I asked for vacum,the cleaner got very annoyed with me and l even offered to do it. A mirror would have been nice even stuck in the cuboard to avoid that bathroom. My window had no lock on it, was quite scared at night.l arrange my suitcase strategetly and someone had pulled it out from behind the bed and gone through it. I don't think l will be staying there again. A little friendliness goes a long way, l just felt under attack from the cleaners so avoided them as much as possible over the 4 days.

Location very quiet and close to transport with great Indian restaurant down the road.

The location and “vintage feel”.

On this occasion it didn’t bother us but no A/C could be an issue. There are no hooks to hang towels on in the ensuite and also no small shelves for personal items.The tv had no options for us to stream our channels.

Very comfortable beds and clean and well equipped room with toiletries/ tea / coffee etc

The room was a little warm but it didn’t bother me as I don’t like Air Conditioners

It was close to the Ferry so easy access to circular quay.Central bathroom was very clean.Management was accomodating when I accidentally locked myself out of my room.

No air conditioning. For an old style residence it was VERY stuffy and the Kmart fan supplied did not cut it in 40 degree heat. Must be upgraded.

Great value for money. Beds were comfy, serviced every day (which I wasn’t expecting), great to have a fridge and kettle in the room, kitchen area clean with all you need to cook a meal. Staff are lovely. Short walk to the ferry to get into the city.

old school sydney lodge. perfect location. very accessible public ferry.

The location was great ?? Basin over the toilet cistern to refill is an excellent idea.

Squeaky shower on the lower level that wakes everyone up when you use it.
