The staff

Location, location, location. Staff greeting everytime we went in and out. This has been our third or fourth stay at his hotel will continue to be our go to everytime we visit Sydney.

The shower head unit was way too high and not easily adjustable due to its fixed position. Made for people 6 feet and over.

Central location, suite was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Will definitely return.

Fabulous staff at all levels. So kind, informed and helpful.I think they need to change their high level management directors. The room facilities were minimal. Threadbare towels and we had to ask for changes.We booked for three nights and didn't get cleaning, new towels, coffee pods etc. each night.Next time we will stay one night if nothing changes.

The room smelt like someone had been smoking there.

Perfect location, close to restaurants, theatre, pubs, bars and public transport. Spacious clean and comfortable suites. All staff we encountered from front desk to cleaning were friendly and helpful. Thank you

Great location. Very close to tram stop or walking distance to Darling Harbour. Had all amenities that you would need. Had a great stay!

Shower could have been better but not a deal breaker.

Large apartment, clean, quiet, comfortable, and in a great position 5 minutes from Central Station, close to Darling Harbour, and across the road from the light rail.

Solid Meriton quality as usual. Modern, c;lean, well equipped and generally comfortable. China town/haymarket area walking distance to Sydney Cetral station and 1 minute to trams.

1) the air conditioner is right above your head when in bed. Can't really use it at night, which is unfortunate. The person who designed this should never be contracted again. 2) the shower cabin leaks, creating a pool of water on bathroom floor after each shower. 3) no views to speak of but no big deal.

The location could not be beaten. We had all the facilities we needed and the staff were exceptional. When we advised the manager that we were unable to use the balcony because of the extremely loud noise from an adjoining building’s air conditioner motors, he arranged for an upgrade to a higher floor at no extra cost.

Location, comfortable beds, large rooms

Wifi didn’t work in room. Spoke to front desk and they sent someone to fix it but it still didn’t work. Was annoying as we couldn’t even used the tv. Air con unit was also loud.

Central & convenient location, especially to transport & food options. Quiet and clean room

Only 2 lifts working during our stay due to renovations - but staff were honest & upfront about this at check in and apologised in advance if it were to cause inconvenience

Good, except the cigarettes

There were lots of cigarettes, a cigar butt and a vape on the ledge outside the window, so the room was being smoked in.

Great apartment to stay in, good facilities with included small kitchen and laundry in the room, plus heated pool/spa/sauna were amazing to relax in during the day. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Very close to restaurants and supermarkets if self catering. Close to tramline and Central station for trains which was perfect to get around city.

Easy to access and fairly central.

We booked 2 rooms...our bathroom had 2 batteries lying on the bathroom floor and the 2nd room had the supplied toiletries opened and used in the shower - clearly the shower had not been cleaned. I asked for a recommendation upon checking out as to where we might get a decent breakfast from? The concierge said he didn't know but could give us a map/info behind the counter but then he couldn't find them so I gave up and said don't worry about it. I think staff should have SOME knowledge about the area in which they work.

Location. Standard and comfort of room.

Lifts a bit slow as one was out of use. Not too bad though

Location. Friendly staff. Good pool and gym. Washer and dryer in room. Efficient air con.

Very slow lifts and nothing for older people to sit on while waiting over 10 minutes. Complex TV system that was very frustrating and we are tech savvy people. No more small washers in the bathroom- washing one’s body with a big hand towel is really odd! The pillows are huge, heavy and not comfortable for sleeping.

The pillows uncomfortable, I had to sleep without pillow as the pillow was too high and no face towels

Clean, tidy, comfortable bed, close to lots of food and public transport.

Great location and good sized rooms

The room had a little smell of humidity.

The hotel was located close by the light rail and train stations.

The room door did not have a peephole. Cleaning staff walked in without knocking twice. I did not feel very safe.
