Location is great, quiet building and street, elevator access, comfort of bed

Shower issue with water pouring out into the bathroom floor, need a better barrier for the water. TV placement is too high on wall.

Great location. Rooftop patio is great, with fantastic views. Price, staff, and room all made stay very nice.

Parking was a little awkward. Very strong smell in the room that unfortunately was trying to be masked by an equally strong smell. Room was a little crowded also with a very small bathroom. Room 108

Room space and facilities, location was perfect and close to friends in similar hostels, felt safe as a solo female traveller

Nothiing, was pretty happy with my stay

Just one street back from the main drag of Kings Cross, with Harris Farms market across from the entrance, this was well situated for convenient access to local bars and entertainment. (if Whisky is your thing, check out The Roosevelt). Well furnished studio apartment, of a decent size.Once checked in, easy access with the security card.

It would have been nice not to have to park 15 minutes walk away, but you would be hard pressed to find any streets with unrestricted parking anywhere in the area. Don't let that put you off.

Location was excellent for our needs. Stayed here on a few occasions. Some great eateries near by, close to public transport and an interesting area to walk around and explore. Find new places of interest each time we stay here.

Very little

Paid $180 for basement studio. No fresh ventilation literally smelt like stale air and sewerage. Visible semen on the blinds and sheets. Pure filth. Room had bright flood light shining into windows into room at night. I range the on duty manager could not swap or refund the room. The worst hotel room ever booked and i travel often for business.

Right in the heart of Potts Point, easy walking to Opera House, Elizabeth Bay etc . Lots of great eateries, and supermarket close by if you're self catering. Our room was equipped with 2 ring hob, sink, microwave and small fridge. It's compact. Our room was ground floor with no windows, just 2 openable doors on to a small patio, but only a low wall between next door. We didn't feel comfortable leaving the doors open at night. The room had a strange smell, quite pungent when you first entered but after 10 minutes you got used to it. Not sure what it was.

There was no check in staff, so had to wait for check in. I wasn't the only person waiting. The chairs in the room and blinds were dirty. The room was not made up for 3 days and by the time I got back there was no reception to request clean towels.

The only thing that was below par was the air conditioner in room 354 - not working properly so the room was too hot & airless

We had a great room, the view was not the best mostly city, however the view from the roof top table & chairs, BBQ area which we had breakfast at and dinner one night was good you could see the harbour bridge through the trees. The facilities washer and dryer was so easy to use not coin operated so that was even better. The service from all the staff, reception and housekeeping was so good they were able to help out with storage of suitcases as we had a late flight. Extra tea, coffee was soo good. Its the little things that make a stay enjoyable

The apartment room is small but very cozy. Located in the red-light area in Sydney but really can't hear any noise at night so it's nice!

There is a strong vintage-building smell when entering the room, so probably better to use some air freshener/ diffuser.

Great location and room was suitable. I arrived “outside of hours” it was 8pm and after 24 hours of traveling I had no instructions on how to enter the property which was disappointing. I would suggest booking information is provided via email and the booking platform as texts aren’t going to work if you aren’t using data roaming.

Staff not on hand when i arrived and not around when ready to check out and wanted to leave luggage there while went and had breakfast.

The smell in my room was terrible, and I don’t know why, but I guess it’s because the room is too damp. Also, the kitchen is tight; there’s no tap or sink.

The shower knobs in my room was very hard to adjust. It was either cold water or hot water, no in between.

Good location. They allowed us to check in early.

We were given a subpar basement room, probably reserved for third-party bookings. (We heard someone else complaining about it. We’ve had this problem before.) There was a musty smell, in part due to the poor shower design, which made the carpet wet outside the bathroom door. Also, the window coverings, loveseat and chairs were filthy.The guy at reception said we could check in early (a plus), but when we came back at the time he told us to return, there was no one at the desk. When he finally showed up 25 minutes later, he ignored us, walked right past us and went outside. Someone else finally acknowledged us and checked us in.

According to two desk clerks none of the safes worked in the entire hotel. Couch was dirty, old and tattered. Air conditioner was draining water onto the floor. Started thrusday night told staff on friday morning and was told no maintenace was available until Monday. I had to put a pan under the ac to catch the water for 4 days. Frying pan had so much of the non stick coating coming off that i couldn't use it. The only reason i gave it any score was because it is convenient to public transportation and the beds were comfortable.

The room and the location was superb, very close to the Kings Cross train station, buses and all that the Cross has to offer.

I phoned before making the reservation to see if smoking cigarettes was permitted on the rooftop area of the building, as it's awful having to go down to the street in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning, I was assured I could smoke on the rooftop, so I made the booking. When we arrived the small print in the hotel "guide" said no smoking anywhere including the rooftop and penaltiesapplied. I enquired about this with the staff on the desk (on the way out for my morning cigarette,) and was told there was no smoking anywhere, I mentioned that I had called in regards to this earlier before making the booking, the staff member just said again "no, no smoking, I don't know why you would have been told that" Highly Disappointing!
