The heritage style and it was so beautifully decorated and designed. Loved it. Awesome location. Awesome staff.

    Liked everything.

    9LisaPosted on: 2-8-2026

Beautiful hotel, lovely decor and location was ideal

The breakfast was limited to one choice on the menu, if you wanted more than one coffee you had to pay for it.

    8WilliamPosted on: 2-6-2026

The room was quiet from the street as well as nice and dark and the room had an entrance part so was quite roomy though the space was a little under-utilised. They also have a left luggage service for free which was very handy as our return flight was in the evening so we could still enjoy Sydney for the whole day after check out. The Rocks is a great character filled area and has some lovely eateries for dinner and breakfast. The Ferries from Circular Quay will take you to King St Wharf, Watsons Bay - home of the famous Doyles Restaurants as well as the Zoo, Manly and beyond. The public transport has daily caps on usage prices so check what they are and go nuts - the trains, trams, buses and ferries are all included in the price and Circular Quay Ferry, Bus & Train stations are only a few minutes easy walk from the hotel.

No view from the rooms and no lift but most rooms are on the first few levels including the ground floor level and there is a dumb waiter for luggage. Our bathroom was very tiny, functional but very tight. Which was funny since the rest of the room had a lot of spare space.

    Location but no view unfortunately

    Bit ancient, tiny bathroom, stairs

    6MartynPosted on: 2-5-2026

Great location is all it’s got going for it.

The room wasn’t clean and decor is tired and bit grubby. We were woken by tradesmen at 6.30 am who started drilling at 7am! We’re hardly going to stay in our room till 11am check out ! They offered no compensation. They could have offered free breakfast for Example at least we’d be out of our room.

Location was very good, staff were helpful, breakfast was fine

Bathroom was sub standard, ie way too small. Evening meal for New Year's Eve was below expectations, the steak was tough.

    Great location and friendly staff

Arrived and my booking did not exist (booked year in advance), had to accept downgraded room as all that was available. In fairness both receptionist and general manager did good job finding best solution and fairly compensating me.

Location was fantastic! So fun and nice to be right near Harbour and for Australia Day activities and fireworks.

The air-conditioning was leaking water in our room

    7AndyPosted on: 1-26-2026

Staff very friendly, room clean & comfortable.

    Basement was dark (corridor)

    5PaulPosted on: 1-24-2026

    Location

Leaking windows and wet carpets (heavy rain)

About 1 block to the cruise ship terminal. Easy access to Sydney Opera House.

    No elevator.

    5KristianPosted on: 1-23-2026

    Breakfast was excellent. Worth adding.

Room was located next to mechanical plant operating all night. There was a constant hum. AC unit was not clean and did not provide much cooling.

    9RossPosted on: 1-22-2026

Location was perfect for our stay.

Bathroom was tiny, more like an old style en-suite. Advertising was a little overstated.

    9WilliamPosted on: 1-22-2026

    Perfect location

No lift, as yet. Soon to be installed.

    7NatashkaPosted on: 1-22-2026

I’m n a fantastic location, the hotel is nestled in the cool Rocks area, a stone’s throw from Circular Quay. A trendy hotel that smells fab

Bathrooms were not best standard, the hotel feels a little dated .
